  1. Hi! I have quite a big problem flying DCS VR on multiplayer servers since I have enormously low FPS (around 6-10 fps at departure) on my Quest 2 VR-Headset. Sometimes for short period at startup the frames can reach 40 FPS but then, when startup is finished while taxiing to runway it drops down to 10-14 FPS. The strange thing is, that in singleplayer I can even go to higher settings and will have up to 60fps STABLE!! Without major drops. Seems to be an "only MP problem". I've already read a lot of threads in forums, guides ect. but sadly did not find a solution yet... Can anyone help, please? Specs: Quest 2 + Link Cable (80Hz ASW off, 45FPS) AMD Ryzen 1700 @ 3200Mhz 32GB Corsair RAM @2900MHz RTX 3060 TI

  3. Do you think there is any chance for those improvements in context with the new Vulcan API? (did anyone hear some rumors about correct shading and better performance there?)
  4. Is there any schedule for a correct shading and illumination model for night missions planned? I mean DCS does not look very well at night: - the 3D-Model of for example an F-16 does not reflect any external light source (wether specular nor diffuse, its just ambient - feels like absorbing any light) - light sources at airports are no light sources in most cases. Seems they are coloured objects or slt... - night flying does not feel right for me, it is missing a lot of light sources and simply too dark on Airports Is there any kind of Phong Shading included in the graphic engine? And do you use different types of light sources? (Directional Light, Point Light, Spotlight...) I think with just a view small corrections we could have a much better experience. BR
  5. My most wanted Phantom ist the F-4G Wild Weasel variant. It can play a major role in SEAD operations all over the servers, making it very interresting for a variety of mission types - and therefore a lot of players!
  6. Hey!:pilotfly: I have got a problem with seeing my own external lights: My Squadron sees all of my external lights - but I dont! I also cant see any lights of my squadron, too. I thought it would be my graphics driver, but it wasn't. Tried to change graphic settings, but no efforts... Does anyone out there have the same problems? Solution? :smilewink: Specs: AMD Ryzen 1700, Nvidia gtx 1070, 16 GB RAM

  8. Problems with gun reticle: Hi Guys! 1. I sometimes have problems with disappearing gun reticle at distances lower than approx. 2 miles from designated target. Works well when i am turning in and stabilizing the plane, but when i get in shoot range it simply disappears... 2. In addition to this i yesterday had both engines stopped (2 times :) while i was diving 35° from 12000 ft towards the target (throttle@idle). i am not shure if such a maneuver is not possible with the A-10 because of a loss of fuel flow??? I'm a bit confised... Thanks for your replys!

  10. I'd like to use Lock On FC2 in DCS network! Would be fine to use its big amount of allready finished (honestly not as detailed as DCS) aircraft, but make a lot of fun. I'm getting sick of ground attack only...
