  1. This is an excellent mod and i reckon ED would be mad not to seek integration into DCS. Great Stuff !
  2. The reference i used for A58-543 was from the book "Aussie Eight" by Eduard and i did see a another picture somewhere else but the markings as far as i can find are correct, heres a cut from the book" As far as blurry roundels and finflash on JF630 i may need to get my eyes checked, yes it is a bit blurry, :) yep il have to fix that, thx Art.
  3. Ive had a quik look through the DCS game in 1.5 and 2.1 files, i have found the Harrier EDM files, but im having trouble locating the "Diff" files, if i find them i may be able to make a basic template out of them, apart from that i dont know anyone apart from the author who would have a template.
  4. Heinz, Ive uploaded into user files, so it should be ready to DL when DCS pass it thru, hopefully today.
  5. Great research there Sporg, i reckon we should get some Authentic markings out of those.
  6. Ditto - thanks Snowsniper !
  7. Thanks Brass, i really like that close up pick of the exhaust stack, il look at using that when i re-edit the skins again, as ArtJ has said that the current stacks on my skins are a bit out of whack.
  8. @ Art - Sure no probs, I will have a play with them in the next couple of days. The funny thing is that the current stack is from a real colour picture of a contemporary Spit, i just moved a couple of exhausts around because of the layer configuration. But i do see your point.
  9. Nachtjagdgeschwader 3 (NJG 3) was a Luftwaffe night fighter-wing of World War II. NJG 3 was formed on 29 September 1941 in Stade from Stab./Zerstörergeschwader 26. I also thank JST for his template, that made it very easy, thankyou.
  10. Thanks Sporg, great close ups,i believe the ROTOL badge is a post war add on.
  11. Nice skin, thats a good story behind that Spit.
  12. Thanks Brass, i PM'd you a link you might be interested in.
  13. After looking at these skins and getting some advice from SnowSniper, i found the right Grey for these Skins, here they are: Im pretty happy with these, they will be packaged together and on the User files ASAP.
  14. There up now Stoney. DonJosh: Yes i thought about all in one, might do it next time if i have to re-do them again.
  15. I have re-edited and updated all my Spit skins with adding new exhaust pipes and a more realistic propeller marking. I dont know how historically accurate the marking is but they are more in line with how it was done. Here are pics of the latest. I have also uploaded two generic skins, Grey Nurse and a Desert livery. These are now done !
  16. Thanks again for this great App Skatezilla !
  17. Thanks Brass, they look like RAAF Spits ? Id love to be able to see the serial numbers etc.
  18. Thanks Joey ! And the re-edited skin of "Merry Widow" should be ready to download, apologies to those already that downloaded it.
  19. Thanks BrassEm, that one is a Post WW2 marking, it was "fancy'd" up after the war.
  20. Ive just emailed Dowty and asked them for any info they have, hopefully i may get an answer. Meanwhile il keep searching, Im not normally this OCD, but its given me a burst of interest.
  21. Thanks Jocko, i reckon your right and i agree about the Merry Widow markings being a bit heavy, il work on these, thanks mate.
  22. Just thought id start this thread, some of us are spreading our wings to make authentic prop markings for the Spit, il just start by posting some good info ive found. These are "Post War" documents, i think Wartime markings are a bit different, i will try to find some.
  23. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with Rock.
  24. Great markings, another great job there Reflected.
