Love your work CrazyEddie, thanks to you and the other guys for great skins, only can add to the sim, great work all. Its a thankless task most of the time especially in the forums, so i thank you all for your great efforts, i was just looking at my skins at DCS and my skins have been downloaded nearly 50 times since they went up for public consumption yesterday, and not one bloody thanks amongst them, (not that im really into self gratitude, its just that when i was brought up you said things like thanks etc etc). Anyway great work guys and thanks to those that have acknowledged us.

Yes your right Basco1, it was my "eagle eye" acting out of sorts, but the skin is sure pretty.

New Monitor Setup - advice needed

Cib, my 42" is certainly clear as crystal and i get great frames, if you have a 50 in the house hook it up and see. But i would gues that as you get bigger distortion may occur. But you never never know if you dont give it a go.... -
My skins are ready for DL, hope you like !! http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/793683/

Nice Job on this skin BoNidle, but maybe that wing roundel is a bit crooked ? maybe not, but nice skin anyway.
-
Eddie thats skin looking good for the Chief, i like the simplicity of those skins too, but if you want the jpeg or the work file of the nose numbering il gladly give it to you. Good stuff Eddy, keep it up mate.

4 Aust Sabre Skins. These are complete, im just getting them loaded to DCS now, may take a day or so, the skins are all my work, except the camouflage model that was first made by nhenley85 Nuck. However i did the Aussie work on that skin in my version, i also gave it an Aussie accent.....:music_whistling: Thanks Nuck for your great cam job and giving me the ability for an Australian version. Hope you like them.

Thanks Skull and Six, as soon as i am happy that they are finished i will upload them to DCS, im still playing with the colours and position of some aspects, Wont be long though.

Thanks Chief, i got a little tweaking to do, and heres another , hope you like, i got to move the tail number art forward a bit as well. But this is a work in progress. Heres the real one sadly rotting away:

Here the completed Skin for my version of (CAC) Sabre No 83 of 75 Sqn RAAF Heres the real one: More to follow.

Thanx SkateZilla, ive done exactly that.

75 Squadron RAAF " Black Diamonds" work in progress, there seems a glitch in the skin because a "notching "effect occurrs on the belly band at the top of the fuselage. Not sure theres anything i can do for that at the moment, also numbering should be on the nose, very hard to locate the spot and set numbers neatly. The 'Diamond" tail insignia is valid , as also they had a "TopHat" as well. Work in progress.

Tromac, Although we are in a US based group- the 229th- we have an Australian and kiwi based helo company (C/229) that fly regularly, although we are a "HueY" organization, we have been neglecting that lately and fly everything anyway, especially the latest Sabre and Dora. The link is underneath my Sig.

My mi-8 is still grounded - the silence is a bit deafening on this, maybe they are waiting for a certain change to happen ? -
Touch a nerve ? Im not trying to prove anything, but seeing as you brought it up this generation of who we speak does display regularly the attitude you express !

A perfectly accurate snapshot of our Nintendo generation ? i suspect so. If you have to engage the brain its hurts so bad.......

What is the Location of Kneeboard Lua for Monitor Placement
Strut replied to Strut's topic in DCS: F-86F Sabre
Devrim / Milli I tried adjusting its size, and also tried to position it, it just doesnt want to play. Will just have to wait for the "tech" savvy to come up with something. Cheers all:joystick: -
Well done, love it, Love the Sabre !

New Monitor Setup - advice needed
Strut replied to AlpineYoda's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
i wouldn't contemplate 3 monitors at all anymore, (not unless i had a machine that could run it effortlessly and the money of course but the monitors would be 42 inch in size) to run i use a 42' LED/LCD TV with a 24 inch monitor mounted underneath, the large screen is brilliant, immersion is terrific, frames are great. And the outlay overall is cheaper. You should consider it. -

No luck finding it , but a tempory fix that i got from HighwaymanED that i bent and scratched and pulled at, i can get it onto my second monitor but cannot adjust its size or move around : _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('Sabre_A10C'); Description = 'Custom Settings for each aircraft' function default_setup() Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1920/1080; } } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 1920; y = 0; width = 350; height = 350; } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 2280; y = 0; width = 350; height = 350; } CARGO_CAM = { x = 1920; y = 0; width = 350; height = 350; } ED_Kneeboard = { x = 3000; y = 350; width = 900; height = 900; } end default_setup(); -
