I just put mine on speed 1.0 and Smooth on 50, and that works pretty sweet too. You've got smooth on 100 Nixon? Mine only goes up to 51 though. How did you get yours to go that high? I am running TrackIR 5 though, is that what you have?
-
Hey guys, I just received TrackIR 5 with the pro clip and I have been messing around with the settings for a couple of days and have found that I like it at about 2.0 speed and about 20 smooth. What are your settings and are there any little things I should know about so I can tweak mid game or to make it even better. I can't believe I flew in sims this Long without it. it's especially good when keeping eyes on a ground target or turning onto finals.

Anyway to slew maverick seeker to TGP SPI?
Brutal replied to WildBillKelsoe's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
How many threads are there just like this one?. Honestly though, I still learn something everytime its brought up. -
Just added DCS Black Shark to my collection. Took it for an instant action flight, its harder than I thought!

Thanks for all your replies fellas!

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a go in the morning.

Hi all, quick question about rearming. When I select the loadout I want the ground crew respond with copy, I can see the new loadout appearing on my aircraft from the exterior view but the DSMS says its empty. Am i missing something? Do I have to power it back on or something? Thanks:helpsmilie:

I use a $50 logitech attack 3. I know all the keyboard commands off by heart so thats a sinch. It took me about 3 weeks to be able to start really enjoying the sim this way. In that time learning it I wouldnt call it frustrating, Id call it a challenge, I dont have rudder pedals I just tap on the 'Z' and 'X' keys to some what co-ordinate my turns. Its not perfect but no bigggy. I would love the Hotas Warthog from thrustmaster but cant justify dropping that much doh on a stick. Buy the game, get a cheap stick and go from there. It might be too much of a learning curve for you anyways. I doubt it though if you have registered on this forum and are reading reviews :)

I love reading posts like these. They help me learn more all the time. Its the first time Ive heard to look in the lower left of the hud to see wht the SOI is. Thanks

"Smerch Hunt": Radio message target coordinates for CDU
Brutal replied to Bahger's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
You guys sure know your stuff! Thank you again for this awesome info. It makes Playing the sim that much better when I can actually use more and more of the systems in a realistic manner. Many thanks again! -
Entering Co-ordinates into CDU when playing online.
Brutal replied to Brutal's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Thanks for that mate. I'll give that a whirl tonight. -
Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction of entering L/L co-ordinates into the CDU whilst flying. I have been trying to fly abit more online but when I do I receive these co-ordinates from ground forces and I have no idea on how to input them. Thanks in advance.
