  1. Sorry about that, I've attached a couple examples. 1 fail 1 pos.trk 1 pos 1 fail.trk
  2. Still seems hit or miss. I've set up the fuses appropriately and I can push out to a site and more often than not, drop a dud. Is it altitude specific where the bombs won't detonate below a certain threshold? Is it angle specific where they won't detonate if they come in at less than 25 degrees?
  3. Many thanks, the EFUZ setting was missing it the walkthrough tutorial. It still seems to be hit or miss if it activates or not. I'll work through it, thank you Wags
  4. Good afternoon, I'm going through the tutorial on the cluster munitions and followed the instructions however after release, the bomb drives straight to the ground. Has anyone else experienced this?
  5. Morning, I finally got everything buttoned together on my computer with the 2080Ti any had my first real experience with the Rift. Immersive and initially disorienting but great. I used the VR preset in the menu but turned up the resolution in the cockpit to 1024. After loading up a quick mission on the runway, I found myself initially at around 25fps with some tearing. Disappointing at first but about 5 minutes in under the same start conditions (maybe minutes a little AI), the fps held a solid 45 fps. Any ideas why that would happen? Anyone curious, on my old 1080p monitor I was getting a steady 140+ frames on full settings on the A10 around Vegas.
  6. That's the gist I got. Do they sell 4 packs of ram that are synced? Everything I saw only had pairs
  7. Greetings, I've looked a few different places and got conflicting answers on if I can add 2 new 8gb sticks (for a total of 32gb) to a Z370 plus gaming motherboard running Windows 10 and an 8086k chip. I have a new rig ordered and am wondering if I should suck it up and get 32gb from the jump or add a couple extra sticks if things don't run smoothly on VR. Ideally yes, 32gb from the jump is best but is adding the extra sticks realistic? Thanks Chris
  8. It appears the trigger for the outer beacon is elusive and can't be hit every time with the information provided in the briefing.
  9. I see in the documents: KILL BOX: BKB001JFLCC 71 MM Can we input this into the CDU somehow or are we to just use our eyeballs outside of the cockpit?
  10. I'm at a complete loss on this one. There are a plethora of targets out there but it doesn't seem to matter which ones we go after. The mission card says that JTAC should be available on 30 and 31 however they're not there. Boar flight shows up after my flight takes out the JTAC requests on 127.5 (a few minutes before the end of VUL) but they never attack anything. Springfield simply never becomes an option. I'm obviously doing something wrong, show me the light
  11. For anyone stuck on this, the 19th mission, its critical to be on station at the specified time. Where as most of the other missions it didn't amount to much, being at Bravo at 0620 gives you the time necessary to take care of all the targets. - Ignore JTAC and wait for calls through the F10 menu - It's possible to use only yourself and your flight of A10's to do this. Be resourceful Still leaves one question. How do we know which flight on the TAD is which callsign?
  12. On attempt 5 I realized that the TIC calls started to come in at 0620 which is when we're told to be on station 'by' (instead of 'at' 0620 I believe). When I get another chance I'm going to try and get on station at 0620 which should trigger the 45 minute VUL clock set by Maple at a geographical spot near Bravo and the trigger to start attacking TIC targets. I was getting to the VUL trigger at 0605 which was taking 15 minutes of attack time away from me to attack the TIC targets.
  13. I can see the direction on this mission and what we're supposed to do but as Recon Stewart has pointed out, it seems some of the support units aren't responding to F10 radio calls which begs a few questions. 1. How do we get the other units (not our flight) to go to a specific target? Do we have to change the group number in the TAD page to whom ever we want to strike a particular target? 2. How do we know who we are selecting in the TAD then who to make the corresponding radio call out to? 3. How many TIC calls are there in this mission? I cheated and was plugging in MGRS numbers that I saved from before while en route and still could only take care of 3 of the TIC calls. When I thought I was safe after finishing up the third, a fourth came out. 4. A 45 minute VUL is pretty quick to take care of all of these targets. Do we need to address the normal JTAC calls or do we pass this after addressing only the TIC calls? Thanks again, Chris
  14. Rippling off 4 via CCRP worked a charm.
  15. I'll give it a shot again. I've been blowing up Recon Stewart's YouTube channel on different missions and for this one it looks like he rippled all 4 bombs off on one pass using CCRP. Sounded like the recorded audio trigger after a successful strike was something to the effect of "Look at those secondaries!" I was dropping single bombs on the side of the bunker with CCIP and no luck. I'll try your suggestions once I get back to that mission. Thanks again Sabre
  16. I went through this mission and dropped the provided Mk82 airs on the bunkers with no effect. Seeing as they felt woefully inadequate, I loaded up a couple Mk84's to drop on the mark but was kicked back to the SEAD mission (14). What am I doing wrong with the initial Mk82 air? Also is the campaign programmed to knock you back a couple missions if load different loadouts? Many thanks, Chris
  17. My apologies, yes. I was going into each waypoint and chasing their altitude to zero
  18. Easiest way for me to not go out of the MOA was to stay south of the river. Also to pick up the targets faster I was changing their elevation in the cdu to 0.
  19. FYI Went through a few times and finally had a success. I think even though I was dropping the flares to make the targets visible, its imperative to stick to the waypoints so as triggers their progression to the next point automatically in the TAD. Sabre had a quick response. Much appreciated, wouldn't hesitate to get another campaign.
  20. Good campaigns so far from Maple Flag but I've come into a sticking point. For the illumination flares mission, I release all the flares at the appropriate times over their targets (all 3), get a subsequent call out of "Good Illumination" or something to that effect and then, ....nothing. I use the F10 menus and make my calls for fence out, circled Kobuleti until all of the flares actually landed, landed at Kobuleti (and got no call out from the FE) and as I'm swinging around in the revetment that I usually park in, get a call out to shut the bird down and he'll give me a score after I'm done. After shutting down properly I get.....nothing. When I go to boot back (hopefully) the next mission it puts me back into the illumination mission. Anyone have any ideas? Push come to shove, how might I be able to skip this mission (through the editor or what have you)? Many thanks, Chris
  21. I ended up going above the mountains with NVG off. Hollywood. Keep up the good work Baltic
  22. I gotta say, I can't get through this with the current weather engine. I've adjusted brightness on everything I can and any pilot would abort. How do we modify the weather?
  23. I'll give it another try. I didn't think about the suggestion for the hud
  24. Fantastic campaign. It's really stretched my knowledge of the sim to things I've never tried before and has been fun in the process. I'm looking forward to the next campaign from Baltic With that said, the last mission is, difficult to say the least. Going with nvg through the valleys is possible up until the point where I see the special forces shoot the flares but after that, I just get white out from the clouds. To make matters worse, the pipper for the rockets is bleached out on and adjusting the goggles doesn't help much. Any suggestions?
