  2. Red side must hold a meeting and think of a way to stop these Mach Potato guys. They are dangerous of causing heart attacks :D
  3. Yes exactly. Also I think this can happen when 2 FARP's are close to each other. Must been a design mistake from my part mostly if the FARP's were inside a canyon . Must check the FARP's to see where the issues can occur. Please tell us if you remember the area which this happened yesterday. Thanks. Greg
  4. Hello as said before and it's written in the rules: - You CAN'T move groups of units or single unit from one city/Airbase/FARP to another to capture. Example : You can't move units or whole groups from Gudauta to Sukhumi. That's forbidden. - You CAN get in units and defend your assets. Example: Sochi is under attack, you can get in a Shilka and defend against the enemy. - You CAN move movable units that a chopper dropped. Example move a Strela that a friendly chopper dropped. Not from the F10 Map though.Only in 1st person. Greg

  9. The great thing is when we turn into discussions about strategy and tactics instead of technιcal issues. Really like it. :) About comms, the difference in these type of events (24/7) is that except all the coordination that is needed between the packages during the fights we have also to make quick decisions on the air of our next target or the area that we should defend due to rapid changes in the front. And that makes it even difficult as it could easily lead to wrong information exchange. Also it's nice that both sides don't give up and change their tactics even if the game seems lost some times.   13. Yes it's there but not as a countdown. It counts forward the time since each mission restart. So you need to check how many minutes it needs to get to 03:00 hours. http://opblueflag-buddyspike.rhcloud.com/ "session elapsed time: 1 hrs 5 mins" If we increase the time of each mission session this will also change.   14. :thumbup: Now that the server crashed only once after 3 days we can move forward on adding more stuff. Improving also things that the guys mentioned above combined with the 1.5 that should be on the way we believe we will have some good results. Greg

  16. There are thousands of ways to cheat. If it pleases you, you can try them... :dunno: We are here to provide a nice template and people seems to like it and we try to improve through feedback. As the rules say we follow the same logic as the most DCS World servers follow. That of couse does not include to hide stuff in trees ,shelters under water etc... We hope that occasions in which people will try to ruin it will be the exceptions. If many will try to follow a way like this then we won't bother to chase people. Of course as it's something new for DCS World there will be questions and things that you will face for the first time such as organising tactics for days instead of hours. So I propose to enjoy the fights which are still on and not worry about something that didn't happen in any of the campaign days. If you see it report it. Greg
  17. It's not so easy unfortunately as we don't have issues with commanders moving units in 1st person. As the rules say we don't allow movement of groups through cities etc.We allow moving single units in 1st person. If you just get in a unit and move it or shoot you don't produce any issues. This is based of course of our current test results and may change. Greg
  18. Unfortunately the groups seems to be able to move through the F10 map with that option. Greg
  19. Yes it was the first thing we had to deal with. We improved it by adding static units inside the groups . That way you can't move groups but it still can cause issues. We know until now that it doen's cause issues when you drive on first person a unit so it's only when you move them from the F10 map. As we want to have the removing of Combined arms slots as our last option we will try to find other ways first like changing more units to static (by static I mean fortification units & ZU-23's emplacements). The good news are that lag issues caused by the server itself were spotted 3 times in total since start and all other issues reported were depending on clients (not connection but mostly fps issues). So let's hope to eliminate them. Greg

  21. Yes everything was more than even until 23:00 zulu. More US players are in the blue side mostly cause of the F-15's. Tried to bring more red squadrons and lonewolves in since the 1st round but that didn't solve the issue as they have the same timezone. Trying to improve it asap. Greg

  25. The time between the groups repair is set to 20-30 minutes. Please check the pdf also for more details . From what you say I understand that you were destroying the tanks group but the ewr and Sam were previously destroyed. So they got repaired as you were striking the others. Greg
