  2. Are you ok flying Su27s OverG? It's not only about the numbers of pilots but also about available airbases left. Greg
  3. Checked. It's ok. It just got repaired that's why.It's red now also in the F10 map. The server restarts every ~3 hours. When it restarts the transported units from the previous run are not there anymore. As you captured Sochi just before the server restart, the server begun with no units there until it got repaired. It's red now again :) ( repair time from 20-30 minutes) I know the features may some times confuse but we will all get used of how the current campaign is working ;) Greg
  4. Hello. The server is not passworded for at the moment so basically anyone can join. This may change in the future depending on the traffic etc so it's better to sign up. Also by signing up in the buddy spike website you will be aware of notifications regarding current and future events. At the other hand squadrons should register as this way they get reserved slots and airbases. Greg
  5. Thanks all for registering. You are now all in the lists. :) This morning we updated the mission with some new dedicated slots for newly registered squadrons. Red side TMS is assigned to Anapa AB. RAF is assigned to Krymsk AB. Blue side TAC is assigned to Kutaisi AB. ]H[ is assigned to Kutaisi AB. Anon6 is assigned to Vaziani AB. VEAF is assigned to Tbilisi AB. Fighting 99th & 57 Squadron are next to be assigned in the upcoming update of the mission. Until then you can use the general slots "blue" and "red".   6. Yes there was an issue after 4 hours that the server was running so we restarted the mission. Things got ok after that. Hopefully this will point to zero the next days. Greg
  7. Hey. The script works differently than the default capturing of DCS way. In order to capture an airbase you have first to see the message "The airbase is closed". Then you can land troops. This one is important. Do not land troops before it says "closed". The script works fine so far so I understand that the enemy moved groups outside of the 2kms of the airbase and when you got there he returned and attacked you ;) Sochi,Beslan,Maykop has changed sides 100 times :P Greg
  8. Yes. Ground Commanders can move units for defence purposes only. It gives an even more dynamic feeling in the battles and forces the attackers to spot and be sure that they destroyed everything before landing troops. The enemy group numbers are specific (e.g. 7 units inside a city) so you can check if you destroyed everything before they repair again. What is not allowed is to move groups from one asset to another (e.g. from a city to an airbase) and this is a rule only for stability reasons.If it didn't cause issues we wouldn't place a rule .   10. Hello. It is noted that the deploeyd units are for temporary usage. That means that you use them only for a temporary purpose (for a capture or setting a radar for 3 hours). The server restarts every 3 hours so the respawned units are lost. The mission saves the status of the campaign and the groups in the airbases , cities, FARPs which are alive or getting to repair etc. So nothing from them is lost even with the crash.   11. Hey, sochi is a blue airbase initially so when red captures it they get the bonus aircraft only as it happens also for the blue side on same occasions . No worries everyone have their chances. Today we had a 17 vs 4 for the reds situation with blue side pilots struggling to defend and the war didn't end . If someone can end the war within hours then he should win so it's fair . Its what makes this campaign interesting in my opinion.
  12. Hey thanks Ghost (mwd2). Yes the pdf was updated before the start of the campaign. We removed the smokes and you can rearm before taking airborne.It was done for optimization purposes and to ensure gameplay as you can't spam units that way near airbases. Is the note about the green smoke anywhere left by mistake? Greg

  14. Hello. Well it's not so often. It crashes ~2 times per day with the exception of Sunday in which we had an issue and it crashed 4 times. We reduced the issues after stress testing It's a combination of issues in which there are a lot of backround stuff working , like scripts to support the web page and the capturing system and mostly some unfortunately DCS things like when you hit specific AI units along with other actions or moving ground groups through the map when many people fly. We try to reduce them even more though. Thanks for the support. Greg

  17. Hey guys. A) GROUND GROUPS MOVEMENT As we experienced also issues in the past we created this campaign in the way it won't need to move ground units through the map. We saw some movements of forces trying to capture with them assets by driving them from area to area. This would be ok if it didn't cause issues (lag and server crashes) but we have to ask kindly everybody not to use this way. Please use the ground commander slots as you like (GCI , Defence of your assets etc) but not move the groups through the map. We will update the pdf guide also with this rule and will try to inform everyone. Also FYI if you get your groups outside of a friendly asset it will get closed something you don't want. We hope to reach in a point that more and more features can be added but the stability is our first priority. B) CAPTURE OF AIRBASES / FARPs & CITIES We noticed that some of you had questions about why a capture was not triggered in some occasions. We want to clarify that in order to capture an asses you have FIRST to close it by destroying all the enemy units inside. Once you get the message then you can capture it.   20. Make sure all enemy units are destroyed first before the drop. If there are still enemies there (ground units) or you landed them before the airbase got closed then you have to pull out your forces and land them again. Please try and let me know. Thanks Greg
  21. Hello the server seems still ok. Have you entered any of the previous days? Maybe an integrity check failure if you use any mods? I will check it though if it may going to crash and you get the error from there. Thanks for the notice. Greg
