  1. Thanks for reporting. I am trying to see if it pops up on my end again after adjusting the scripts and shall provide the fixes to ED asap. Thanks for your patience
  2. Hi all, apologies for the inconvenience. The campaign was proven as playable and received good feedback since it's release (back in 2017), but of course it gets affected by DCS updates. Unfortunately it was not possible for me to look at the issues properly in the last months. I will be working on the issues, which I noted from your posts, on the next days to send out updates to ED with fixes asap. If a mission is proven not possible to be brought in a proper state anymore, I would might need to remove it from the campaign (e.g. mission 4) Thanks for your patience
  3. hey thanks. there was a big update on the friendly packages behavior and in general improvements based on feedback. This was however some months ago and from that point we focused only if there is need of bug fixing. The reason is that the campaign was considered in a good state and didn't want to break it due to the many DCS updates/ features that are introduced (mostly related to AI). As such, we will have to see if it would be beneficiary to change something in the future. Feel free to let us know of whatever is not working as intended though, so that we can focus on it. Thanks again Greg
  4. Hi, thanks for your purchase. Op. Pontus campaign, is designed with a different way and is not following the stage campaign concept. The mission name may show the same, however the use of the Campaign Progress Code, is generating different campaign content (thus the dynamic description). In the end of each sortie (after landing back to the Carrier), you should be receiving the message with the de-briefing that includes the code too. You shall note it down and input it in the next mission (once inside the cockpit). The campaign's pdf manual describes the process, but please free to let me know if you have any questions. Hope you will enjoy it! Greg
  5. Apologies I just saw this. Great finding! Will check to fix it asap. Greg
  6. Hey thank you. These conversations between your wingman and the player are different in each mission and are "playing" once. We didn't feel them awkward at the time we were creating the campaign The campaign has an upgrade that will be released in the next update but it doesn't affect the voice overs so they still exist. Greg
  7. Hey, thanks. No it should not happen like this. Thanks, will go through and see if this can happen to fix before we submit the upgrade files this week. I hope it will be ok for your next sortie. Greg
  8. Hey, Please try using: JULIETT - ECHO - GOLF - ALPHA - CHARLIE - LIMA Thanks, Greg
  9. Hey, thanks a ton for your feedback. Could you please post a couple of codes you received in case you kept them as backup? We are going through the upgrade and would like to fix any issues that could occur and didn't spot earlier. The campaign in general shouldn't spawn the same sets of aircraft or ground groups or just change their positions and should offer a different experience from mission to mission. Greg
  10. Hi, exactly. You can proceed to the next one either by the way you describe or by: - flying the same mission but after inputting the code, just take off and land to the ship. This way it will proceed as normal and you can use the same code to the next mission. This is unfortunately a bug that can impact all campaigns. It is already reported and hope it's get fixed soon. Greg
  11. Thank you very much for providing also a video. Checking to spot if it's connected with anything related but we didn't introduce a change that could create a hit or so. Will get back to this if we spot anything unusual. Thanks again Greg
  12. Hey, it should be available and you can change to your desired payload All new capabilities for the F/A-18C are available for Op. Pontus campaign, as the player is the one that controls and decides the payload for all squadron's aircraft. Please let us know if it's not working for you. Greg
  13. Hey, no the campaign simulates a ground offensive that it goes by stages. It starts with area 1 and only if it's liberated it goes to area 2. It follows the roads of the map. Therefore all your actions should focus on the active area depending on your campaign status. If you order your squadron packages to perform strike task, they will attack targets in the active area. Same with CAS and SEAD tasks. Hope that helps. Greg
  14. Thanks, the 2.7 update offers the ability to add pictures through triggers and this is a way we plan to help players understand more the process (starting from the intro). Just for an example now (but will try to have a video asap) you can see the areas here in the briefing screen: These areas are liberated depending on your progress and when the XO finishes his status speech you can see the new map by entering again the briefing screen (Esc and briefing). No need to exit the mission. You can press Esc again and continue. Thanks again, I must check the XO's responses. He shouldn't suggest so much SEAD tasks which could be an error in the calculations. SEAD is normally suggested mostly in the beginning of each offensive to a new area. Greg
  15. Thanks, the target coordinates that are given each time are optional and it's up to the player to decide if this would be the task or if it's better to go for another role (depending on the status of the campaign). About recognition and frontline, the campaign has 8x areas in which the battles are happening and the status informs you how many of the areas are currently liberated etc. You can see the frontline map status also by going to the briefing page after the XO analyses the status to you. In general, the information should be there for you but it might be that it didn't catch your eye? Thanks again Greg
  16. Heyo Thanks for your feedback. However why would there be a comparison between completely different projects? Pontus is an official DCS DLC campaign, meaning no modification in files allowed and it offers specific features by using the default DCS tools (e.g. mission planner). We believe Op. Pontus campaigns offers what it advertises and we are working to fix any flaws when there are reports (e.g. in bugs forum section) The upgrade which is being worked at the moment, is based on users feedback and steps on the current concept. It again however has no goal to meet specific requirements of other projects. The word dynamic means that the campaign changes, has different outcomes but in general it doesn't mean it will include or exclude standard features. We used the word dynamic in Op. Blue Flag too, but the concept is different here as you always have different tools to built each project. Please refer to the guideline videos. Happy to help more though. Petritis shall advice more on this asap. Greg
  17. Hi, this is unfortunately a DCS update that ED is investigating to fix. However the campaign is not broken for you Due to the campaign progress code, your progress is not lost. There are 2 temporary solutions until ED provides the fix. 1) Either you can fly again using your new code (this way you will fly with the new status but time and weather will unfortunately be the same) 2)Either you can get inside your current mission, input your new code, takeoff and return to your carrier. This way the end mission works all the time. It's some events that cause this random failure of ending a mission sometimes. Once you exit the mission use the same code you have in the screenshot and not the one that it provided it while landing. This way you can fly the given task in new time and weather conditions too. hope that helps till the issue is gone. Greg
  18. Hey, thank you. Yes indeed it's a bug affecting all campaigns. We will add a skip function in case it's not fixed soon. As a workaround in case this happens again: As Op. Pontus campaign uses the campaign progress code, you can actually continue by running the same stage and input the new code you got in the end of your last mission. If this keeps happening you can advance to the next stage by inputting your code, takeoff and then land. In these cases, the "end mission" seems working cause there are no events. Thanks again Greg
  19. Hey, thanks for your feedback. You actually can. The mission's briefing page is updated once you insert your code and you can see the new picture of the battlefront The area that you are targetting is mentioned too and is shown in the briefing's picture and the F10 map by a mark. We shall use the new "picture to all" trigger though now to show it better. Greg
  20. Hey, thank you. Big Falcon's 4 fan here too In Falcon's campaign you had the ability to jump in the pre-defined packages, that the engine was generating but you could also interfere (changing loadouts, waypoints, create new packages). With Pontus we tried to introduce the second part during its initial release. We wanted to get initial feedback and improve the basic functions before jumping on the next stage. AI behaviour was the most important factor. We are now however almost ready to release the campaign's upgrade which includes the first part too You will be asked in the process if you like to design your tasks like you do now but also will have the ability to let the campaign's engine to prepare a task for you. The task will be selected depending on the campaign's status. If all goes as planned our files will be sent to ED next week. Greg
  21. Hey, thanks. We are completely changing the way the friendly packages will work together with your flight so that we can avoid these cases. The packages currently are sometimes flying low depending the threats and effort to search for the assigned enemy units. We will have updates in the upcoming weekend. Greg
  22. Operation Pontus 2.7.0 DCS Update & Upcoming Campaign Upgrade Hey guys, With the arrival of the great 2.7.0 DCS update, we took the opportunity to update the campaign and plan an Upgrade that should be available soon. The latest additions were: Updated weather conditions (clouds) Added new weather conditions mission variant Added extra field in Campaign Progress Code to connect with new computations Current strike target info and mark in F10 map, is now available after entering campaign Progress Code too Tweaked friendly AI groups behavior Corrected typos The fields of the Campaign Progress Code are now 6 to add more variety in the dynamic aspect of the campaign. For those of you that already have a 5x digit code and would like to continue your progress, please insert "ALPHA" in the 6th field. Your optional strike target that you receive information every time you end a mission, is now also available while flying (F10 Map). After entering your Campaign Progress Code, you will be able to see it in the F10 map with a mark and a unit (Infantry). As far for the campaign's upgrade, we are working on improving the UX of the campaign and the friendly & enemy AI interaction. The upcoming upgrade will include: - Displaying Campaign Score message - Friendly AI package new ground attack triggers logic to avoid low flying - Tweak of Enemy Air to Air threats (types, spawning times) - Special strike targets (SAM sites, Factories, Warehouses, Naval targets etc) and some more still WIP There is an updated video guideline mentioning the latest changes: Thanks Greg
  23. Hey, thanks for your purchase. The campaign has 15x missions Did you receive the last message mentioning that the mission is complete before exiting? Greg
  24. Hey thanks, I understand you mean the intercept mission right? If so yes it's fixed and submitted for the upcoming 2.7.0 update. Greg
