OT in this thread: Do you need to have FC already before installing Ka-50 addon? I am asking this question because if FC is not needed before installing Ka-50 then how about the models (3D models and some logics) that are improved in FC? Are they also included in Ka-50 too, incase if somebody is installing Ka-50 directly?

Hello all, I am searching for the SOLID* comparisions between LockOn and Falcon AF. The comparisions that I've found are: LockOn offers you Russian flyable aircrafts. Falcon AF doesn't Falcon AF has clickable controls. LockOn doesn't. I didn't try Falcon AF so much as I don't have a copy, and I don't know the technical difference between these two. If you're a gamer, don't multitask often, and want the best performance possible, the FX-xx is an excellent option if you've got the coin to burn. But if you're the type of user who is constantly running multiple applications, you may be better served by a dual-core Athlon 64 X2 CPU. Yesterday I planned a mission. I put 3 Mig-23s and one Tu-22M bomber. The Tu was assigned for Runway strike. I also put F-16 as an enemy aircraft. The Tu along with its escort was at 10,000, and was just near the target zone. The bomb bays were open. However, I noticed one thing. When an enemy aircraft is nearby then the bomber will kick its burners and will drop its altitute. Why so? Technically it shouldn't as the escorts were dealing with the incomming threat. The bombers should do their mission if they are just on the target area.

In night, when you are on land and ready to taxi to runway, and if you see an incomming aircraft, you don't see the nice taxi light near its nose landing gear (or in wings). However, when the aircraft has landed then you see the glow of taxi light on the runway. It would be nice if it is fixed.

If ED is going to model everything perfectly then Uncle Sam will kidnap them -or- we should be ready to pay 19,000$/copy. Think about the efforts, the complex mathematical calculations and the man hours to make a sim. Also, it is really hard to model such things for multiplayer (consider the amount of exchange of data between server and 6+ clients). ED is here to develop flight sim for home users, and for people who can effort a copy of sim in less than 100$. Give them some credit:) Of course it is good to fix minor things (like blast radius of bombs and so on) but expecation of heavy mathematical implementations.....:dreaming:
