Can someone inform me as to why they picked the same variant of the F-15? Is it because the E version has more available information to the developers than other versions? If this is the case, I could see why they would go with the same version. If they both picked the E because they wanted a multipurpose version (AG/AA)..then I think that is very poor reasoning..

Does this mean that people from other planets or even extra-solar planets cannot apply?

I would guess the reason is because things are still up in the air. With one month left to develop things, they could add/take out/change certain things very easily.

You should probably watch your tone and calm down. It's a simple forum post. There is no need to be ugly. As for your claim or lack thereof..While one might not directly say/promote an agenda or idea, that does not mean that one's logic doesn't lead to the inevitable conclusion. For example, "Poor people should just go out and find a job". While the argument might be valid, this shows that the person saying this believe's that the poor just don't want jobs and if they tried, they could get them. Obviously such a claim is absurd but one must reach conclusions to have an argument. (Sorry for the bad example) I have such a limited understanding of the inner working of ED and how games and flight sims are made I should not dabble into this part, but the amount of work that they have put into these flight sims is just not shown on the surface and can't be measured by "We want X airframe and we haven't gotten it......yet". They are coming out with a new fighter jet. Keep Calm and Wait for ED.

DCS's main website. I have nothing like a DNSChanger. Why does everyone think that the network has anything to do with it? From what I remember you can start the multiplayer software without an internet connection. Malware is possible but I really doubt is the reason considering I reformatted my computer and still experience the problem. Same thing goes for the corrupted install. Many times over I have uninstalled and re-installed it to no luck. Even reformatted. I realize that this is an old game and support really isn't given for it anymore, but jeez...30 minutes to start a game is really annoying. Thanks for the help. Also, trying to play tracks, or doing any campaign mode will do the exact same thing after trying it.

CTD in Multiplayer/Masterserver/Gamestart related to User Input Config Folder
The-Sky replied to osram's topic in Game Crash
This worked for me after deleting the old version of A-10 and then re-installing DCSW and then deleting saved-game folder after install. Hopefully this helps someone. -
Not to mention some of us have 100Mbps servers (seedbox's) which we can help spread the torrent with. It will grow faster as more people are on the seeding end (including myself). Current upload: 5.3 Megabytes per second. You're welcome

Problem is still happening..Bump after a month a guess.

I have not manipulated anything. I looked for timeouts with a network program and found none. 1. Yes I have. Firewall is disabled. 2. All Firewalls are disabled. 3. It happens even if I bypass the router or have DMZ zone setup. 4. No. I sincerely appreciate your help, but I don't believe it has anything to do with connectivity. There is 0 reason (other than to check for a key) I can see for the application to need access to the internet before even opening. Mind you we are talking about before the splash screen and main menu.

Description: Whenever I try start FC2 in Multiplayer it acts like it is a hung process and starts out at about 24,000Kb. It seems like when it hits 36,000Kb it will load. This process can take over 20 minutes. This obviously should not be happening, and Single Player opens in less then 5 seconds. This is making the game unplayable for me. Furthermore, this problem seems to come from the patch. Whenever I uninstall the patch, it works just fine but once I install the patch, it takes forever. Steps tried: 1. Reinstalled FC2. 2. Checked HardDrive's Integrity. 3. Reformatted Computer 4. Reinstalled FC2. Problem File: simulator.exe Game Version: 1.2.1 Error Message: None Crash File: None MS Event Log:No Errors. DX Daig: http://pastebin.com/Wu35JvPa If I've missed any information please let me know and I'll get it to you. Any help would be appreciated.

Short and Long represent how long you are support to hold down the specific button. Short is a tap, long is a hold. TMS: Targeting Management System DMS: Data Management System CMS: Counter Measure Systems (Chaff and Flares) TGP: Targeting Pod (Long Distance Camera) EO: Not sure but it's basically the fact that you must "warm" the MAV seekers. Here is a list of what your HOTAS functions are. I suggest printing them out, I still have to look at them every once in awhile. (At the top it says "TAD, TGP, HUD, AIM9, MAV" and these columns are for when you have each of these instruments as SOI (which you can set with the Coolie Hat)). Must haves for HOTAS being mapped to your joystick or knowing keyboard shortcuts: MasterMode Button, DMS, TMS, CMS, Weapon Release, Trigger, Trim, Speedbrake, Boat Switch, China Hat, Slew Control, Coolie Hat For everything else you can live without having mapped for now. Once you've mapped each of these things appropriately, make a game with some fuel trucks and some mav's (or I could make it for you) and then just try the steps that other people have laid out while refering to the HOTAS Function Car. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. The A-10 manual isn't the easiest thing in the world.

Hiya. I'm curious, are you having problems setting up the keybinds with your joystick or is the problem that you don't know what to setup? Could you elaborate about your problem a little bit more?

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.. Why do you have to be so arrogant about it? It's not like he's asking for a map to be made and sent to him. From what I can tell, he's spreading ideas of what he thinks would be good for map makers.

I mean this is great and all, but ED can't even come out with a dedicated server (command line server) for multiplayer. What makes you think they will do this in the next.....5 years?
