Hi y2kiah, so i am not that happy... my CNC cutting area is too small for this nice front panel, i am working on increasing the cutting area to this dimensions. another issue , i can see that it is not that simple to just generate G-code from a dxf file. there is a lot for me to learn before starting cutting panels :( , setting up the CNC to move 1" when i am asking it and not 1/2 " etc there is more for me to learn. but for those who like to start with homemade CNC running EMC2 under Ubuntu 10.4 i have created Basic Step by step manual, hope it will be useful for some. y2kiah i am going to test it today. got error with exporting to g-code, it's look like win7 64 is not supported. i will test it at home. if it works, i will look like this :D:D:D

After long week, short nights, i can say it's alive. Test1 Test 2 now i need to create panels using CorelDraw , export it to PDF, and from PDF to some CAM format and ...... terurn it to G-code under EMC2 !!! mmmm maybe some of you already got those file ready for use ??? :helpsmilie: or some samples? so i can start with? Any G-code files will be appreciated !!! i like to start with cutting the front console, i will update later this weekend.

Hi, i don't know regarding to replica but, check this site. Knobs - http://www.sci.com.tw/PRODUCTS/ELECTRIC%20PARTS/elec-KNOBS.html simple switching- http://www.sci.com.tw/PRODUCTS/switch/swit-toggle.html I have sent them email regarding to some parts like Switching , knobs and more items. if it will be reasonable pricing i will share. 3$ (too expensive) for one SW is the cheapest i could find near in my region. hope they will provide better price. I am willing to participate in case of bulk purchase, sw and knobs. Thanks Avi

Hi y2kiah, i can see you r using EMC2, i have in the configuration part also using EMC2, and i have some Q please: what are the setting for XYZ configuration - can you advice? how can i export files to the g-code format? - is it possible ? any advice for drawing and cutting panels with EMC2 will be appreciated Thanks Avlolga

Strix first thing i did when got the card is plug it in to see how its been i dent by windows. win didn't found it. i did the same with my living room pc (win7 32bit) it was found with no problem. so I figured that's the problem. i will try update me drivers /main board too. Thanks Avi

Thanks Deadman, as you said "prices are very hi" Update for my A-10c pit::pilotfly: Got my CNC wired and running - have to run tests before cutting panels. I have run some tests for front console. Got wood for Front Console. Goot wood for ACES_II. Got 2x LCD 7" for MFD. Got MFD couger. Got 2x groovyGame IOCard Got new IOCard from brydling i think it a good start.:pilotfly:
