  1. @j0nx -- I think you are clicking on the project page only. The download link is this: https://github.com/DCSFlightpanels/DCSFlightpanels/releases Hope this helps. Paul
  2. For anyone who might be interested, I have added a DCS-BIOS profile for the SA342 Minigun Gazelle and added copilot intercom volume controls to all Gazelle profiles. You can find the files here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3499153&postcount=778 Thanks, Paul
  3. Updated DCS-BIOS files attached. Changes: Added profile for SA342 Minigun Gazelle Added copilot intercom volume controls to all SA342 Gazelle profiles. Download and unzip the file to "C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts" and allow all files to be overwritten. Please let us know of any problems with the profiles. Thanks, Paul DCS-BIOS.zip
  4. Excellent! Thank you. I do use Kneeboard Builder and it's a great program. I didn't know you were this close to an update. Paul
  5. Thank you, Nicholas. In the meantime, is there a way to move the kneeboard? In my setup, a far right position is fairly awkward. Thanks again, Paul
  6. Thank you, illern. I will make these changes. Paul
  7. Great news, AlaskanGrizzly! Thank you, Paul
  8. In addition to this issue, the pages are not displayed in the proper order for me. I opened a mission with two pages of waypoints. A tan options page was displayed between the two waypoint pages. Also, the kneeboard is on the right instead of left. Can it be moved? I don't believe KneeboardBuilder can be used in this case, unless the structure of the kneeboard code has changed. Thanks, Paul
  9. Thanks for the updates. I appreciate it very much. Paul
  10. Sorry if this is what is referred to above, but the kneeboard is broken in Open Beta 2.5.1.16978. I only just updated, so I don't know how long this update has been out. The kneeboard opens, but shows one page only and won't go to next or previous pages. The displayed page happens to be on that I added, if that matters. Thanks, Paul
  11. Ditto. I just tired to set this up with OpenBeta 2.5.1 and both the edit and view PCs had issues running the setup. The edit install goes black after everything loads and just before the GUI appears. The view install throws an error when you open the view mission (attached). Thanks, Paul
  12. I'm not sure if this is the question, but ideally SRS and DCSFP with a DCS-BIOS configuration should work seamlessly together. We fly A-10Cs in multiplayer using SRS frequently. I think this was working for me, but I'll have to test again. Paul
  13. Thanks for the input. I will be running tests to track hard drive/swap file usage and starting from a clean boot. Paul
  14. Very nice! Looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks, Paul
  15. DCS BIOS should not be in a folder named "Documents." It should go here: C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\DCS-BIOS xxxx user would be you and "DCS" should be whatever version you are running, e.g. beta. Hope this helps. Let us know.. Paul
  16. The video at the link below will show the issue I am having, although not as severe as it can sometimes be. This is unedited, so I’ll point to the important parts and explain a few things. At 00:44 seconds you will see the zoom factor change and a very slight stutter. On the MSI Afterburner charts you will see the downward spike that occurred at the same time in the GPU Usage graph and a smaller downward spike on the FB Usage graph. Later, I’ll show other graphs with corresponding spikes. Regarding the zoom, the initial setting is the “Enter” key default zoom. When these stutters occur, controller inputs get rescanned without any interference from me. The zoom that the screen jumped to is the zoom setting on my controller knob. After this, I reset the sim to the default zoom. That reset is a manual change by me and not part of the issue. At 01:37 another incident occurs, this time with a more visible stutter. Again, see the downward spikes in GPU Usage and FB Usage. The gaps between incidents can be more like 20-30 seconds when the issue is particularly bad. Now I pause the sim and Afterburner to show other corresponding spikes. I put a yellow marker on MSI just to the left of the most recent incident. Not spikes in the following graphs: GPU Usage FB Usage Temp Limit Voltage Limit Framerate FPS As far as cause, effect and/or relationship, I have no idea what these charts might be hinting at with regard to the root cause. At this point I reset everything and let the sim go on. Another event, with stutter, occurs at 04:00. I want to point out that these events can and do occur with a cold and dark plane sitting on the ramp. I only have the plane in the air to better demonstrate stutter. It was suggested that scenery loading could be the cause, but I believe I have ruled that out. Also, no other aircraft are spawning. This was single player, but I have the issue in multiplayer as well. Finally, I flew a mission this evening on another PC and the image below shows much more clearly the spikes, which are a bit more severe and had the on-screen issues like above. Paul
  17. My situation is the same--when the stutter occurs, GPU Usage drops to near zero and almost immediately back up to the normal area. Sometimes the stutter lasts a few seconds, other times it's a blip. Very interesting that you see this as well. The severity of the issue varies. Some nights I get no spikes or stutter at all. Most times I get some. Other times, DCS is almost unflyable. Thanks, Paul
  18. OK, here are some updates and comments on my issue. First, it is not resolved. I have tried all of the suggestions made here or that I have found on the internet for others with this issue and none have worked. Regarding others, if you do a search on what causes repeating spikes in the MSI Afterburner GPU Usage chart, you will find a number of posts with people who have either the exact issue I have, or something quite similar. One very interesting post (HERE) claims that sometime over the last year Nvidia has acknowledged a stutter issue and is working on a fix. My problems started about a year or so ago. Also, these posts seem to all relate to Nvidia cards. Hmm. I just got off chat with Nvidia and the tech claims to not be aware of this and will not comment on 3rd party posts. I get it. He was very willing to dig, but I could not stay on any longer. Plus, I really just wanted confirmation of the acknowledgement, which I did not get. The primary commonalities between the two PCs that clearly have the exact same issue, and my laptop which shows the MSI spikes, are Nvidia graphics cards and DCS World. I re-ran X-Plane and took a much closer look at the MSI charts. If I strain my eyes, I might see hints of similar spikes. However, I never experience the repeating on-screen stutter in X-Plane. However, I sometimes get a single episode of stutter during a long flight, but it clears and does not repeat. Also, and sorry to repeat myself, but I have completely closed MSI as a potential source itself and I still get stutter in DCS World. Anyway, I assume that DCS and X-Plane utilize PC resources differently. One might expose an issue while the other does not. I do not believe mine is a DCS issue per se. I appreciate the time and input from all--thanks. There has to be an answer and I'll post any updates. Paul
  19. Thanks Flappie--Good thought, but all is OK in that regard.
  20. Sadly, no joy. But thanks for the suggestion. Paul
  21. @BitMaster -- Thank you for the additional input. I'll run some tests with LatencyMon and WhySoSlow to see what they might find. I'll also keep looking for commonality between the three PCs where I see the effect. To clarify that I bit, my first sim PC and the new one, now running in different locations with different input devices, both show the exact issue of on-screen stutter associated with the spikes seen in the MSI charts. My third PC is a laptop which shows the MSI spikes, but I'll need to test again to look for on-screen stutter. Thanks.
  22. @BitMaster--I felt from the start it was related to USB, but after disconnecting every single USB device, including the dongle for the mouse and keyboard, and still seeing stutters, I realized the devices themselves were not the issue. I didn't think about the drivers. I'll make sure they are updated. Thanks for all of the other input as well. Paul
  23. Thank you, Chic. It's a good test--I'll give it a try. Paul
  24. Thank you, Steve. I came across those or similar posts as well and I'm fairly certain I'm using those settings, but I will check to be sure this evening. Even if things appear to get better, only time will tell if it's gone for good. Each time I think I have found the source, I have been proven wrong. As I mentioned, this one has been elusive. In any case, I appreciate the input. Paul
