  1. Okay. Thanks for the info guys.
  2. What's with the newly spawned aircraft having 0 to 30% of fuel loaded? That was the case with a lot of the FC3 aircraft I flew on Red side yesterday. Spent a lot of time staring at the screen while the fuel was pumped in. Hadn't played in months, so I'm not sure if it's intended or ..?
  3. It's for the disappearing cursor. Judging by your post, it's just stock "on"? That's still better than being stuck "off"!
  4. He needs to run his LCD/LED monitor at it's Native Resolution for best results; i.e. the highest resolution it can run. Otherwise the picture won't be as crisp & clear. A 16:10 ratio monitor of that size, it's likely 1680x1050. Any lower and it gets blurrier. Can't go higher. :smilewink:
  5. I use the same size monitor/ratio. Feel like I'm blind past a mile, maybe two if I'm lucky. But it's not only the displayed size of the contact, but the color, when they're close, that makes it even more difficult. I suppose it's the gfx engine that makes the various colors drab & washed-out. Too similar. Makes visual spotting of aircraft difficult because they all look equally washed out, almost the same color, when viewed against the terrain. No camo required.
  6. Trying to blindly use the ESC menu, via the option being highlighted by the invisible mouse cursor, has mostly ended in frustration for me. Attempting to respawn with the "Select Role" option was making me crazy. It only worked once in four attempts. The mouse cursor disappeared, and menu options stopped highlighting, trying to get the very brief highlight to show up on the right one. They stopped lighting after a short time of blindly moving the cursor around. I had to ALT+F4 to get out, as it turns to blindly clicking the button everywhere at that point. Multi-player is the only reason I've been flying in DCS. I stopped due to this bug. Hope it gets fixed very soon.
  7. Well... I suppose it keeps landings rather "interesting" with a 20 degree sideslip. My crab's been splattered plenty, especially with the Su-25T. Just wondered because it's nearly always listed as 9m/s in the Briefing, and 10m/s on the ground from ATC. Didn't know if it changed on it's own.
  8. Is the mission wind speed set randomly? Or is it supposed to usually be 9-10 m/s at ground level?
  9. Does this server have JTAC AI for laser designation? I couldn't find it, in a search. If so, what's the frequency(s)?
  10. Really? Did it to me once, right when I logged into the spectator screen. But it's seemed more stable, the past couple days, while I'm actually in the sim. 'Net paths flaking?
  11. Thanks for the work. Donating is definitely something I intend to occasionally do, while flying on your server (just did, a little bit). Multi-player is really the only regular thing to be done in DCS, IMO, so having a good spot that caters to my preferences is essential. :)
  12. Thanks! After reacquainting myself with this sim in the last few days, after years of not flying with it, your Multi-player server has proven to be the most fun I've had with my pants on. When I want to get some fun leisurely multi-player in, and don't see this one on the server list, I become very sad. So thanks again for all this, and providing a direct IP to get my fix! :)
  13. Same here, about an hour ago.
