  1. My lack of reprojection was indeed the windows version, I had 1803 and going to 1903 made the reprojection work right away. I notice however a drop of 15% in raw FPS now in DCS (15% longer frametime), however with reprojection working things are looking bloody great now (smooth)! Thanks for the help/tips.
  2. Yep, fpsVR is the business. FYI the frame count you can get from SteamVR Beta without fpsVR (you can enable the graph to show in VR same as in the tiny SteamVR window) SteamVR Beta -> 3 Lines -> Settings -> Developer -> Show GPU Performance Graph in Headset (ON)
  3. Much Appreciated. I'll be happy to see it soon. :)
  4. Thanks, I think that's my next step, no sense wasting more time and asking around until I try that. Regards
  5. Thanks for the info. No I didn't, it seems I got everything from there down except: "Windows 10 – 1909 (with recent patches)" the windows 10 version I have is several months older as I try to limit my downtime/maintenance with Microsoft crap that always happens with updates. However I was under the impression reprojection was working even on W10 versions from 2-3 years ago, but perhaps a mismatch between windows version, and WMR drivers is causing some issue... IDK Guess I will have to update and check after that (but man, I'm not too happy to do it :D )
  6. Could I bug one of you to show a screencap of the reprojection indicator in DCS with your Reverb? I am trying to see exactly how it will look and where it will be in the game (and not just the MS doc) Thanks in advance. I wonder if my reprojection isn't working due to an older win10 version? HMMM (but sounds unlikely)
  7. Ok good to know. It just flat out refuses to work here and to show the indicator no matter how I move the headset. The config: { "driver_Holographic" : { }, "driver_Holographic_Experimental" : { // Motion reprojection doubles framerate through motion vector extrapolation // motionvector = force application to always run at half framerate with motion vector reprojection // auto = automatically use motion reprojection when the application can not maintain native framerate "motionReprojectionMode" : "auto", // Automatic motion reprojection indicator to display the mode currently selected framerate "motionReprojectionIndicatorEnabled" : true, // Motion indicator size and position in 0-1 space "motionReprojectionIndicatorSize" : 0.05, "motionReprojectionIndicatorXPosition" : 0.3125, "motionReprojectionIndicatorYPosition" : 0.3125, // Some people may experience increased discomfort such as nausea, motion sickness, dizziness, // disorientation, headache, fatigue, or eye strain when using thumbstick controls in Windows Mixed Reality. // // Setting thumbstickControlsMoveEnabled to true may cause application compatibility issues "thumbstickControlsTurnEnabled" : false, // true = use thumbsticks for artificial turn, false = default application thumbstick behavior "thumbstickControlsMoveEnabled" : false, // true = use thumbsticks for artificial move, false = default application thumbstick behavior "thumbstickControlsReversed" : false, "thumbstickTurnSmooth" : false, "thumbstickDeadzone" : 0.25, // During some transitions (typically entering Home), controller events start accumulate and the system has difficulties to catch up // Settings a mximum age for a contoller input allows ensuring that the events queue does not grow indefinitely "obsoleteStateMaxTimeInSeconds": 1.0, // Disable DX12 support "forceDisableDX12": false }, "NoInterEyeRotation" : { "battlezone_dx11.exe" : true, "battlezone_dx12.exe" : true, "DOOMVFRx64.exe" : true, "Fallout4VR.exe" : true } }
  8. I see you use non Steam DCS, like I do. Did you manage to get Reprojection working (and showing the indicator?) . I can't for the life of me get it to work, and I tried moving the Steam VR beta folder and made sure the right config is set....
  9. Here's a funny question: I run DCS non Steam version (not sure if relevant), and Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR Beta, enabled the reprojection/indicator lines as per MS and all other instructions, and and reprojection is not working and the indicator is not shown. Any ideas if it's related to the fact that I use non Steam DCS?
  10. I still have the switched on and off, but the price is slightly higher now at $15USD shipped to the US due to pricing changes.
  11. Still Available The switches are still available, also listing on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Thrustmaster-Warthog-Throttle-replacement-Pinky-Switch/233190636530 and shipping internationally (outside North America is normally $7.5USD shipping for 1 switch)
  12. I guess I forgot to post here. I have a stock of pinky switches that I sell either through paypal (msg me https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=228654 ) or through eBay : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thrustmaster-Warthog-Throttle-replacement-Pinky-Switch-/233190636530 It's cheaper usually than sourcing it through a supplier yourself and you don't need to worry about the specs/measurements. :) (ships letterpost but most people get it pretty quickly)
  13. Happy to hear it :) Service is still available for the Joystick and Throttle PCB if anyone needs it. Just had to raise shipping by 50c or so due to Canada Post price change.
  14. Okay, I have edited my post. Fair enough and sorry for the accusation. (and yes I basically don't answer most request for info on how to do repairs, it's also obviously time consuming and I already try to offer the service at a super low cost to make it worthwhile) When I got several boards from them they illegally charged me VAT and used the shipping method I didn't ask for, it was rather frustrating considering it was their product failing over and over again :/
  15. This is not the total cost typically from Thrustmaster. They also charge you VAT, and usually ship using the expensive option when you ask for the cheap one. And to most countries you will pay duties/taxes (not sure if in your instance) Did they not charge you VAT, did you have any other charges? :) I assure you that you will always save money using the repair service compared to TM's charges, even if you have to ship your board in. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225797
  16. Only repairs, you'd have to send your board in. (see ebay listing)
  17. Just pinging this back up after months to say the repair service is still available. :joystick:
  18. Right yeah, TM basically use custom molded connectors , they are mini Din but the mounting solution is nearly impossible to purchase outside of TM. (same for the handle, I found a fitting connector but you need to epoxy it into place as the mounting is not compatible) Thanks for the replies though.
  19. Hi, yes I still do repairs, more than ever now. (there is also an eBay listing) :) I will email/pm you.
  20. Did they tell you? :)
  21. Oh hello Cibit! I wish I could remember your firmware issues, but I'm too old now lol Anyway, I can fix most issues with the hog but as for the gimbal, I'd really need to get a detailed description of your problem, and if you have any; pics of what broke would help. (Please PM if you want to provide more info)
  22. Similar to the Throttle service I have been offering I am also now offering to repair Thrustmaster Warthog Stick PCB's. https://www.ebay.com/itm/233139273418 $25USD + basic shipping cost back to you. Cheaper than from TM if you can get the board from them. You need a new PCB or this service if your warthog stick is unrecognized in windows, or windows says there was a problem with the device and you can't flash it in bulk mode to recover it. :joystick: For reference the Throttle Service is here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/233064165979
  23. Sounds good! There is a thread for that now too: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3742907#post3742907 as I expect others may need one eventually.
  24. Hello, since there have been some (many) breakages and interest in getting Pinky switches for the left Warthog throttle; I am offering to sell direct fit switches from US manufacturer(s) for less than Thrustmaster's charge of $33USD shipped :music_whistling: Also note the switches I sell are about 2x stiffer than stock, so fewer accidental light flip flops. ;) Therefore if you don't want to worry about matching switch params, expensive shipping etc , you can buy from me and know you will get one that fits and works. 1 switch $13 USD shipped lettermail from Canada. Approx 4-13 business days for delivery. Each additional switch add $5 USD, shipping remains unchanged. Transaction is done through Paypal. I will send you an invoice to your email address after you make the request, you pay that and I ship out. Replacement switches require you to solder over the 3 cables, but then you need to do this with the ones from Thrustmaster too.
  25. PM sent. Also think if you need some other switch and I could see what I can do. Shipping cost is the same for multiple switches.
