idk ED seems to have been not releasing/updating on steam as awesome. I have a feeling this has to do with the inclusion of their new "DCS WORLD" thing. but idk

I hate that I have to rebind all my common view and menu controls every time I make a new profile. I would make a control save profile, but every time I load a profile from a different aircraft, it effectively disables a large amount of seemingly random control binds. Also sometimes its hard to even figure out which binds do what without alt-tabbing to see references etc. I would like to suggest these changes for the controls editor: 1. Update DCS world so profiles never disable certain key binds for different planes (if a bind isn't found in a loaded profile it should just be cleared, not disabled) 2. Make an optional "common" profile where the controls are constant no matter what plane you choose. (this will be useful for view controls, and other common controls that stay the same between aircraft profiles) 3. For each sub-category of controls, add a numbered reference photo that shows which controls are which. (this will help new players figure out what they need to bind, and what is less important) Possibly something like this:

I believe there is a game called combat helo making an apache sim probably not as good as DCS I imagine the apache will come eventually

There isn't a FC3 forum yet so I'll just put this here. in F15C when targeting a aircraft in TWS mode and switching to a missile in NAV mode the game crashes

yeah I literally just browse the forums for hours at a time during work (I'm a network maintenance tech so I literally just babysit computers that I reformat) so I have enough time on my hands to update this haha

I don't know when but yeah, there's a pretty weapon menu, (I believe the default key is "M" but I think I changed it to that so idk) it shows all your hardpoints and stuff, but you still only get to pick from a premade list of weapon loudouts

I LOVE the aesthetics, BUT I would really love it if we could choose per-hardpoint which weapons we have Obviously not all weapons work for all hardpoints but it would be nice to have to option Like what if I want to go into battle with 6 AIM-9's =P Idk, when I see the sexy new loadout menu it makes me hard but I still wish I could click on the weapon slots and have like... a roll down menu with all the pictures of the weapons I could mount there Just a thought, what does everyone else think?

Is it possible to recover from a birdstrike in the A10? Or do you just have to do an emergency landing /slash hoof it on one engine. And if so does a standard air restart do the trick? or is there a more specialized procedure

I'm prepared to wait that long, if they released every one of these at once for 40$ each it'd be like... way over 200$ anyways haha. I'm mainly looking forward to a fighter jet, that's been sorely missing in DCS world. I imagine all these aircraft will be released in a spread out fashion, and I think that's for the best

You don't know that yet, I know the MiG21 will be DCS level But we don't know enough about the rest to make an assumption I believe most if not all of IRIS and RAZBAM aircraft are 100% modeled
