One question I think this might be sort of important..will we be allowed to place runways and camps into the mission editor..of our choice..meaning place remote airfields..and so on..let's say in my case allow to insert a " Ramitelli " airbase in Italy...just wondering...:music_whistling:

You are probably right..with the Nevada being installed into DCS-WWII ..also:thumbup:

I do believe that will be in the DCS-World module...and DCS-WWII is separate from Nevada.. The Nevada map is a test .. to see if " Edge " can be expanded into other Era senerio's...

My guess for the separation is the DCS-WWII engine will be based on the new " Edge " engine..

Yes, even though so far I haven't been able to shoot the AI down..I have managed to make him crash trying to catch me...on moves not expected...twice I made him crash into the oil rigs...

Okay okay...here is the other project..if time permits..once again..these were purchased models..and I have a 3rd party developer(I only wish I had 3d max and the time to learn( well do have the time )..LOL ) working on these..so when time permits from his other projects will be hoping to see these in the near future..

Well, giving a little Christmas present abit early here..we are in possession of the Ju88g and hoping when/if time prevails..it will be release as an AI Target..for DCS World..thru one of our contacts( 3rd party ) along with one other AI aircraft but will hold off on announcing this one..for now..

Yes quite afew nah sayer's here..if it doesn't suite their needs then they complain..it would be hard make everyone happy..since there is over 46,000 members now.. I tend to stay out of this..sort of conversations...they tend to go way way off track..I will be happy with what comes my way without..bitching about this or that... :music_whistling:

Alot of the mod's were for " Lock On Modern Air Combat " series then progressed to FC1/2/3, but as for DCS-World 2013 I am not quite sure they would work...any mod past a year or two will unlikely work in DCS-World..:thumbup:

I am sorry you are making an argument thru data, when this sort of data was not available or care for it was during the war era years, and these planes had to get out there to combat the enemy At this time the real data came from the actual pilot's who flew them...and put their lives on the line... You are bringing data for something that does not matter now..it was about getting the best available plane out to win the war...and from the most part .. most pilot's picked the P-51 Mustang..or one's of THEIR choice .. So come on..now..see it for what it was during the times..not for the data of today..it didn't have any impact of the results in combat.. The only great plane...was the plane ... that had a great pilot in it...just that easy...:thumbup: Or are you like the guy in the movie " New & Old " ... " Flight of the Phoenix " a german engineer who designed planes and helped design the crashed plane into a flyable one..but wait he design " Model " aircraft..thou the principles are the same..there still is a difference..between a " Model " aircraft and the real McCoy...

Sorry but not to create an arguement here..but I still would take the word of the people who flew the aircraft over statistical paper .. these are the guys that flew them...and had great success with them..if it was as bad as the statistic's say then they would not have run up such great accomplishments..with it.. Its paper vs sissors.... sissors wins..:music_whistling:

Yes, that is an interesting read..but one thing I learned over the years.. " Theory " is one thing " Practical " is another thing and usually practical sort of wins on top..for example.. I knew some one who was great in the " Theory " aspect " paperwork..but when it came down to the nitty gritty " getting dirty, doing the job " he didn't know where to start.. So saying that...yes the stats say this and that..but it really all comes down to who flys the aircraft..if it was so bad in these area's then how come all the praise it got from Combat pilots during that time..are you saying they are nuts and don't know what they are talking about.. Remember " Theory " is just that theory..the " Practical " aspect of it is where it really counts..and the P-51 did that show what the theory didn't show..:thumbup:
