double check in the mission editor that it is set to " Player/Client "...then you can other than that it will be AI only...

Okay fixed it..had to copy it outside of folder and edit it..and then it saved..now setting are done...thanks..gents...:thumbup:

Hey there is no View folder or server.lua file in "Saved Games/DCS/Config/ " You must mean ""/Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS/Config " string.. Tried again will not allow me to save the changes...

Thank you sir..that worked once I placed the autoexec.cfg file in the saved games/dcs/config section... I get a blank screen can not see anything..but still records the track..just what I wanted...cheers..:thumbup:

tried that and it didn't work..must be missing something do I just copy the whole graphic.lua file and then create a new file as autoexec.cfg and save it with the changes...??:music_whistling:

went into server.lua file and made the changes..but won't save it.. says make sure it is not open else where..but its not running..at all..:doh:

okay checking out the link you provided..thanks..:thumbup: in this link post you did meant the server lua right...not the view because those lines are not there but they are in the server.lua.. made changes but won't allow me to save...says make sure it is not being used else where....???

I have always been happy with the direction DCS went either way it was..I am not bashing just referring to 777_Jason's post...I find no faults here with the DCS product base..and the future they intend to bring... Edited: I am a firm supporter of DCS...and the products it will offer...

there will always be bashing no matter what whether it some other game/simulation, just human nature..no one will even be fully pleased with a product... cheers.. :thumbup:

Not really, the P-51D Mustang was sitting on the shelf for years just waiting for the right moment to use..and they used it as a test module for the DCS-World..too see how it worked in that environment..

okay i want to remove the graphics.. for running my laptop..just want to use it for recording Trk files... edited.. can someone give some insight.. wish to create a autoexec.cfg file with the 3drender= false; so my graphic's won't load on my laptop but will still enable me to just record the track of the flight..
