[REPORTED]2.5.6 Dedicated server mission High Mem usage
squinkys replied to wopski's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
Hopefully this helps, it's the log from the Hoggit PGAW server. One of the other admins grabbed it for me, he says it's the only thing of interest from the log. We're still running 2.5.6 (sans Stennis) on our TNN server, if we have any other issues on that we'll update this post with more logs. PGAW.zip -
The real issue here is that you guys are locking away ATC for your flagship modules (that are also incidentally the most expensive modules to-date for DCS) behind another paywall. How are you able to justify forcing the community to pay for proper ATC comms when they should be included with the Hornet at purchase? It's one thing if you want to charge for the fancy new model, the new rooms that you've hinted at adding, the LSO station, all of that...but it's a shame to see you locking ATC behind that paywall as well. Why would that not be a core part of the sim, functional with the existing Stennis?
-
Yup, there's still a lot of good stuff to come, this included!
-
Or perhaps it means with the work slowing on FC3, they can now devote the same amount of time/resources to the other airframes that they're still devoting to the Hornet. Don't be so quick to worry. We'll see what Wag's next Friday update discloses.
-
A fair point. I've read your complaints in multiple threads regarding the missile's current state and wrongly inferred that you were doing so again here. Apologies.
-
How many times do you need to be told that the missiles are a friggin' work in progress man? I'm sure they'll be improved with each incremental patch until FC3 is actually released. It's a beta after-all...

Mini interview with Wags on rockpapershotgun site
squinkys replied to zaelu's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I'll be picking up the F/A-18C, F-15C, and SU-27SM...and am really looking forward to having a new sparring partner in my P-51!!!! ...I hate waiting man. Can the future just get here already?!?!?! -
My mistake, seeing that he's been relatively quiet compared to the SE fellas over the past 16 pages made me think he was in some way affiliated with SE. I want to see your data that contradicts what we have represented in game. I don't really care about the track, although I can't speak for others. I find it suspect that as a group you've been so reluctant to provide any type of proof.
-
Nice deflection. So let me see if I have this straight...SE releases some mod for FC2 that equalizes the missiles due to some perceived imbalance, repeatedly says that ED (a Russian company mind you) has a Western bias, and yet none of you are willing to post tracks demonstrating the behavior you claim to be "unfair" or the data that backs up your statements. Do you understand why I'm not taking this seriously?
-
Come on SE, let's see your data. If you're gonna make outlandish claims, the burden of proof falls on you. Until then you're just trolling, which, while mildly entertaining, serves no purpose.

Some details of FC3 AFM Missile Improvements
squinkys replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Tek do you happen to have some links? I've been searching, but I'm coming up dry! I want to see the bent up airframe! -
Hahaha, I always assumed this was a feature (as opposed to a bug) as in real life I think if you discharge a bottle the engine is usually toast anyway.
-
The only time I've ever had this problem is if I pull and discharge the fire extinguisher system. Is that what happened?
-
So you believe that they have better information than you do...and yet you think that a Moscow-based software company is unfairly biased toward western hardware? :wallbash: Still waiting to see your data...let's see some proof of this "bias."
