  1. Hopefully this helps, it's the log from the Hoggit PGAW server. One of the other admins grabbed it for me, he says it's the only thing of interest from the log. We're still running 2.5.6 (sans Stennis) on our TNN server, if we have any other issues on that we'll update this post with more logs. PGAW.zip
  2. The real issue here is that you guys are locking away ATC for your flagship modules (that are also incidentally the most expensive modules to-date for DCS) behind another paywall. How are you able to justify forcing the community to pay for proper ATC comms when they should be included with the Hornet at purchase? It's one thing if you want to charge for the fancy new model, the new rooms that you've hinted at adding, the LSO station, all of that...but it's a shame to see you locking ATC behind that paywall as well. Why would that not be a core part of the sim, functional with the existing Stennis?
  3. Yup, there's still a lot of good stuff to come, this included!
  4. Love it! Definitely waaaaaay better than trawling the forums, hoping to find an interesting mission for whatever module you're flying. Here's hoping that it catches on quick and mission developers start to update it with their missions!
  5. Or perhaps it means with the work slowing on FC3, they can now devote the same amount of time/resources to the other airframes that they're still devoting to the Hornet. Don't be so quick to worry. We'll see what Wag's next Friday update discloses.
  6. A fair point. I've read your complaints in multiple threads regarding the missile's current state and wrongly inferred that you were doing so again here. Apologies.
  7. How many times do you need to be told that the missiles are a friggin' work in progress man? I'm sure they'll be improved with each incremental patch until FC3 is actually released. It's a beta after-all...
  8. I'll be picking up the F/A-18C, F-15C, and SU-27SM...and am really looking forward to having a new sparring partner in my P-51!!!! ...I hate waiting man. Can the future just get here already?!?!?!
  9. My mistake, seeing that he's been relatively quiet compared to the SE fellas over the past 16 pages made me think he was in some way affiliated with SE. I want to see your data that contradicts what we have represented in game. I don't really care about the track, although I can't speak for others. I find it suspect that as a group you've been so reluctant to provide any type of proof.
  10. Nice deflection. So let me see if I have this straight...SE releases some mod for FC2 that equalizes the missiles due to some perceived imbalance, repeatedly says that ED (a Russian company mind you) has a Western bias, and yet none of you are willing to post tracks demonstrating the behavior you claim to be "unfair" or the data that backs up your statements. Do you understand why I'm not taking this seriously?
  11. Come on SE, let's see your data. If you're gonna make outlandish claims, the burden of proof falls on you. Until then you're just trolling, which, while mildly entertaining, serves no purpose.
  12. Tek do you happen to have some links? I've been searching, but I'm coming up dry! I want to see the bent up airframe!
  13. Hahaha, I always assumed this was a feature (as opposed to a bug) as in real life I think if you discharge a bottle the engine is usually toast anyway.
  14. The only time I've ever had this problem is if I pull and discharge the fire extinguisher system. Is that what happened?
  15. So you believe that they have better information than you do...and yet you think that a Moscow-based software company is unfairly biased toward western hardware? :wallbash: Still waiting to see your data...let's see some proof of this "bias."
  16. How do you people not understand that the missiles in FC3 are a work in progress? FFS, do you not read any of the responses? I have yet to see one shred of evidence that your FC2 missiles are anything more than a "balancing" measure due to your perceived imbalance in the sim. Again, THIS IS NOT HAWX. We don't want it to be HAWX. Let's see some proof. Let's see your sources. Until you provide them, I believe that ED has better information than you. I mean you're not even willing to provide the tracks for whatever it is that you're complaining about. Come on fellas.
  17. Oh boy, the SE guys are acting out! Honestly, all these ridiculous postings are doing nothing more than making me never want to fly with this group of people. You're the one spewing propaganda buddy. And your laughable notion of "balancing" the game? I fly DCS because it's the closest thing to reality, not some HAWX-esque "sim." You're unwilling to post the track because it's going to contradict with what you're saying. Someone pass the popcorn, this has been entertaining.
  18. Ahhh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. Which I most certainly am. Bottom line for me (and maybe anyone else in a similar situation) is if I have to pay a price of admission (LOMAC) to get my hands on FC3, I'll pass. I have no desire to track down and install 10 year old software. I'm sure I'll be keeping an eye on FC3's progress and maybe down the line I'll see some features that change my mind!
  19. I don't understand everyone complaining about the price tag, in my opinion $40 is an appropriate price for what you get. The whole "have to have an existing installation of FC2" is troubling however. If I have to purchase a $30 old piece of software to gain the ability to purchase the $40 FC3 I'll just skip the whole thing altogether.
  20. Well after another frustrating night of trying to get 12 people just past the damn login screen, we've given up. We're done with 1.2 until these issues are resolved. I still have my installation of 1.1.1.1 on my drive and I was able to login and host a game with zero issue, so that's what we'll be using. It'll be nice to have a platform with just a little bit of stability again.
  21. Well guys, I'm onboard the "build-a-PC" bandwagon. Here's my first initial list of hardware: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($289.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard ($234.99 @ NCIX US) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($89.99 @ Newegg) Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($87.99 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Video Card ($214.99 @ NCIX US) Case: Antec Three Hundred ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Microcenter) Power Supply: Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($79.99 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: LG GH24LS70 DVD/CD Writer ($29.23 @ Compuvest) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) ($99.99 @ Newegg) Total: $1177.15 (Prices include shipping and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2012-05-03 22:46 EDT-0400) Any suggestions? Any ways I can save some money and still retain performance? Do I absolutely need a CPU cooler? Thanks again for all the help.
  22. You guys and some of the guys in the Reddit community "Hoggit" are making me think very hard about this. I'm actually putting together a list of parts and will post it here once I am done and ready for a review!
  23. Great, thanks for the heads up on the cards guys, there's barely a price difference between the two. I have built a PC once before (way back about 6 years ago) but I had a "safety net" in a friend who really helped me out along the way that I don't have currently out in LA! That, coupled with the fact that I haven't kept up with pc hardware for years (I moved to LA to work in a recording studio, and everything everywhere is Mac) makes me feel like it could be foolhardy to try and tackle building a PC myself. I'm going to research further before I commit to anything though...you guys certainly have me thinking over here!
  24. Thanks for the advice guys, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of me building a computer from scratch...it's been years since I have even used a PC, so I'm way behind the curve both hardware and software wise. Is it better to have a 2GB 550Ti or a 1GB 560Ti?
