Hi to all, Several times I have tried to download the latest update from my version 1.2.8.27915.434 It downloads to about 50% and then it freezes. This is very annoying as I have only 15 Mb allowance for 60US$. So I cannot download F-86F as the following warning comes on: "Can't install F86-F 1l2l10.30996 into older DCS World 1.2.8.27915" Support told me to run repair but it did not work so they tell me to Uninstall DCS World -delete User/name/saved Games DCS folder - Download and install DCS World 1.2.10and then all my purchased modules and to not install any user mods.:cry_2: I want to fly not uninstall and install as I am afraid of further issues and problems of download-keys-and G940 controller issues. It is not normal that one has to do all that work simply because the latest patch is not downloading 100%. Has someone had the same problem? What should I do? Thanks for replies.

Hello:joystick: Have already bought 2 G940 flight controls. The second one on April 2014. for US$240.00 Now it has also issues on the JS (pitch and roll) Have tried to calibrate it in all possible ways, assigning axes, a.s.o. Have seen on Amazon that now after only 2 years it is over 900.00$ What an abuse!. I mailed to Logitech about the issue- have not received any answer. So surely I am not going to buy a third one from Logitech...... As Throttle and Pedals work well, I came to the crazy idea, that maybe I could buy another brand of JS. Let the G9440 plugged in for Throttle and Pedals and deleting JS assignements in Game and HW. Plug in another JS and assign pitch and roll axes on the second one. I do not know if it is possible. I use the following games: DCS (A10, Lockon, Mustang), FSX, X-plane 10, Falcon 4, IL-2. on Windows 7 64 bits Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated Be well, and happy flying to all of you

What is the difference of DCS World Lock On 3 with Lock on Platinum eg( Lock ON flaming Cliff 2) Hard copy?

When the pedals brakes inputs do not respond when set in options>controls>axis commands. The solution is to put them manually –for left brake: Joy_X – for right brake Joy_Y Then the brake work but remain about 30-50% blocked so take off is very long… but You can fix it With DXTweak2 here: http://www.wingmanteam.com/files/Tools/DXTweak2/

Tks Tigar, but you did not read my request. My problem is not the Brake in Subaru but in other DCS world game. Have to try a download named DTX Tweak 2 The problem is in DCS World the SU 25 is not showing up at all- it is not listed.

I tried to do the automatic download, it started and stopped at 25%. Retrying did not work the updater did not show up. I think you got to wait one day so it shows again. If it is not working automatically I'll give up because I am tired to download all new (too much time and my Internet is with sat dish, so rain or a cloud blocks it - it is no fun to download such large files. Still hope for the best. Want to fly not download .....

Brakes issues with G940 could not be resolved. Must put by hand axes not with pedals. Then it works but about 50% brake pressure is on so I have to quit the brakes with W key because pressing pedals toes does not work Any idea Thanks

In order to avoid to install all other aircrafts control and axes I saved the profile as G940 profiles F15 and then wanted to load the same profile in Subaru 33. this enables me to change only a few settings instead of installing all new. It worked only partially installing only JS settings and not Throttle etc. The worst problem is that it created light blue void spaces in the Keyboard, Logitech Joystick and Pedals and throttle columns. In these void spaces I can't anymore assign any controls (clicking on the column does not work). Cleared category. Closed and reopened the game - the void spaces are still there. One has to use axis commands. But when I do it there is no reaction. The game does not register the press

Hi, Could someone be so kind enough to post me what keys are in his control list in AXIS for Brake Left and Brake Right just copying it in the Axis commande List or tell me which key button I have to choose from the (add an assignement menu key list: eg Joy_ARZ, AX, AY FRY FX, etc. My game does not wantto accept the G940 pedal brakes. Changed them with an old set I had- same problem. Tried to see if it works with toes brakes in FSX there I have no problems. Have installed the game twice - no result - every thing else has been accepted on my control list. Thanks a lot for your answers. Mibo

Thanks Teapot, or any body else on line .I already tried to install al this just the brake problem persists. It is difficult to taxi Mustang without brakes. Could you tell me on your game (if you have G940 from Logitech) which key buttons are shown for Brake left and brake right on the axis command list.. Also one could open an assignement for wheal Brake R + L and see which key button could be assigned eg: Joy-ARZ, AX, Ay, AX FRY etc. then I could copy it into my assignement Key and see if it is accepted. Hi, Had to install new OS on drive C. Had DCS A10C on DVD version 1.1.0.9 and DCS World (Mustang P51D) these are installed on separate drive G. Had to set up all controls on my G940. When I was almost finished I had a Appl Crash. Uninstalled game and reinstalled it- same issue. So i did not bother much as I had the DCS World with Mustang and A-10C last version and the free Subaru. Installed the controls there. Could install all A-10C controls and axes. But checking one mission I could not find the A-10C. Only the Mustang. So I installed the controls on there. Could not install brake left and brake right. Controls do not react. So i changed the pedals of the 940 (had an old spare one) - same issue - So i switched to FSX deleted pedals controls and installed new. There it works. So the problem is not the G940 but the game. Both A-10C and Mustang. Can someone help me. Also as I already posted the Mustang cannot get higher than 20,000 ft on mission 4 (once I could get to 25,000) but circling around for more than 1/2 hour. Tried every thing DOES NOT WORK. As I have written to DCS about my issue with the DVD A-10C and World not recognizing it - I'll wait for their answer. Concerning the Brakes issue can someone help me?:pain: THANKS A LOT! Did not know that all the DCS games are so delicate and do not work after a short while. Have finally put all my control settings ok as I wanted and almost the same as in real plane with G940. Worked a while ... and now all the above .. it is very frustrating. Please answer me about the brake issue, it must be something with registry files of game. Turbo Hog, Yes high blower was on. It comes on automatically before 2, feet. Rockets: Normally convoys are attacked from behind in travel direction where defense is less. The rocket situation must be corrected it is not conform to reality even if rockets at the time where less strong. Also the rudder problem with swing is annoying and makes shooting precision difficult. Nice flying and thanks for your reply.

Questions: Cannot reach 25,000ft on mission 7 Navigation.miz. Everything looks ok but almost reaching the gate at 25000 the engine starts to loose power. RPM and MP are spiking up and down. After Take of settings 2700RPM 46 MP.Can correct it momentarily with new settings of throttle and prop but impossible to reach 25,000 ft. Oil temp is high - open oil radiator. Strange is that the altitude reached is max 27,000 but altimeter shows the hand at 17,000. Gate is at 25'000. Is this a bug? Observations: Better than previous version but: 1. Rocket impact point is much south of crosshair (almost underneath HUD)and slightly to the right even in steep diving position (more than 35-40 degrees) and steady dive, no slipping. 2. When initiating game the mouse is not in the cross position but in arrow this causes the game to go to desktop view. 3. When activating parking brake trough cockpit control it does not remain in position. Quitting it after automatic start is impossible. Must desactivate it with W. 4. Rudder is very unstable with G940 pedals, spiking right and left. Tried various axis. Cannot solve the problem. 5. Zoom external in and out RCtrl + Num* and Numn/ does not respond. 6.Kneeboard current position RCtrl + K does not respond. 7. Find that cockpit instrument are not very clear and labels are trembling. Does one have to reinstall everything new JS etc. etc. or can one for ex. download the new patch for P51 and use it with the previous version of DCS world 1.1.2.1 ??

Thanks a lot Dusan. I'll try to figure out and fiddle around with the G940. The problem is not the game. The problem is very unclear specifications about settings from Logitech, and no examples. Thanks anyway. As soon as it works I'll tell you.

I have the same problems with G940. Posted a few times and received only one answer. This forum is not very helpful and the answer above to your question is not an answer! Sorry, but at least I am not alone. I think somebody should post examples on how to set up the flight controls so that we can understand. Lets still hope....

:helpsmilie:MODIFIERS AND SWITCHES- ETC Have just bought Lock on Flaming Cliffs 2 (platinum) and DGS A-10C Warthog I am reading the manuals but cannot understand MODIFIERS and SWITCHES 1.Could someone explain it to me with a few examples. There is only one example in the manual: " you could assign the “E” button on the throttle as a switch and one Hat on the stick to control the landing light. Before landing you could press “E” one time and use the hat to now control the landing light instead of its default function" . It is still not clear for me, what E button? I have the G940 controls from Logitech. Could someone make one or two examles about switches and modifiers? 2.Do I have to assign the conrols in the game or in G940 profiler? What is best? How can I record alternate functions for buttons to hold down for a Short period or a Long period ? Or should I use the MOD button 1-2-3 on the G940 throttle. Sorry for my english and for my dum questions.Searched on Forum and have not found anything. I hope I am not alone not comprehending the above. I think the manual should expain with more practical examples Thanks in advance
