I like my G940 but I had to turn the feedback down quite a bit. On the ramp and takeoff roll there is no feeling of center but as airspeed increases I start to feel some resistance. To me that feels just like the small planes I've flown so yeah I like it. The P-51 is especially nice with the feedback to feel the stall approaching.

Yeah a little deadzone is necessary anyway to keep it from wandering on it's own. That sucker is touchy. Still I don't use the minibutton in A-10 because I know I'd send my TGP to BFE when I need it most. I ended up using it for parachute release in FC3 because I couldn't think of any reason I'd need to accurately slew a sensor and release a parachute at the same time.

What Haukka said. There are no N S E W buttons there, just two axis and the "minibutton" for pressing in. It's hard to find a use for the minibutton because you will almost certainly move the axis while trying to click it.

So I've been having this collective nerdgasm with everyone else over the video. I'm as excited as the next guy about the hornet and everything else. But I haven't seen it mentioned yet and I'm wondering, am I the only person unreasonably excited about the OH-58? Back in 1997 Jane's Longbow 2 it was my favorite and I can't wait to get up in those valleys low and sneaky and call in some airstrikes.
