  1. Maybe it could be worth entrusting that sort of arduous task to a trusted lieutenant? I'm sure there are quite a few server regulars who would step up
  2. For me it's full fidelity or nothing. Would rather have a FF J-8 than lowfi MKK
  3. It's a mistake caused by the DCS update
  4. Seems like on the current mission the F-5s at least have missiles but there are no red AA missiles at all
  5. Paradox MiG-21 reserve
  6. Yeah this doesn't make any sense to me. You're going to get shot down time and again by F-16s and hornets no matter what variant your F5 is. Why not have one that's appropriate to an era when it was respectable rather than a serially upgraded relic?
  7. When the Hind drops will it have some CTLD functionality or will it be used in the gunship role?
  8. In the case of the 15E it's not an unrealistic configuration, it just makes it impossible to have a credible gulf war mission which in my view is a shame. Hind with SPO-15 might be a realistic configuration for some modern conflict like Chechenya but precludes the dozens of pre-90s conflicts the Mi-24 participated in. Which is not my preference. So *for me* I'm happiest with SPO-10 for that reason. Others are free to disagree but I don't think it's a realism issue
  9. For me SPO-10 is perfectly fine and it allows for a broader scope of periods where the module is appropriate for The opposite situation from the F-15E with its post-2010 UFC which is a bizarre choice to me but democracy spoke
  10. Good effort, it looks really good
  11. The sad reality is that the FC3 Russian planes have an extremely simply and unrealistically modeled IRST. We will be getting a much higher fidelity IRST simulation with the MiG-23MLA in the future. So we will be able to compare PIRATE to that one at least.
  12. Historical accuracy for a given scenario might be nice but we are so far from ever being able to do it. We have a very limited set of aircraft and ground units in DCS and we have to make do, it's only relatively recently that we have been able to assemble a fun, reasonably balanced cold war multiplayer environment in DCS. '90's viggens and '90's Ka-50s are a necessary evil in this environment, at least we know we will soon be able to replace the latter with Mi-24s in the near-ish future.
  13. Paradox

    R-73 missile?

It's unrealistic friend. You'll have to wait for a full fidelity 29 or flanker like the rest of us
  14. IT'S SO CLEAN!
  15. Speaking of roughfield and road bases, SUNTSAG has made a quite astonishing . (Sadly not RSBN, not sure if that's possible given the RSBN implementation in DCS) Maybe this would help discoverability for those who don't know where the base is
