  5. Update - We are now starting to work with the events scheduling. Any event that is to be running will be shown in the events calendar - http://buddyspike.net/calendar I suggest everyone starts checking the calendar to know the upcoming events, we will also publish about big events such as the "Blue Flag" campaign and others in the ED forums.

  7. Well, that's not necessarily true. I don't intend going back to the scripts I published previously and updating them to support new changes in the scripting engine unless they are scripts that I intend to use for future stuff.

  9. This is how it works - 1. Check a relevant death event, collect id,type,name of dead unit. 2. Compare with maximum time hit event which is correlated with id ,type,name which is before the dead event. This will determine kills.

  13. Events with no weapons are also logged. If there were events at the end of the mission that weren't logged, it is either the statistic did not save yet or there was an unscheduled crash. We've timed the restart so that everything updates just before the mission restart message. These are all your kills according to the records we have.   14. If you are reading from the logs in each flight, they do not show specifically kills, they show hits. Only the last hit gets the kill at the moment, so its possible that some of the hits you see were followed by hits of another player . It can be tested by correlating with the events table and checking what occurred at that time. I will introduce at some point a kill percentage like in Ace Of Spades. But will wait to 1.5. Edit - I'll also add that some of those hit planes/helis or ground unit might not have been completely destroyed and therefore no kill.
  15. I don't follow, the stats show 13 ground kills and 3 air kills, total to 16. There is an issue with some flights not ending due to missing landing event, these flights will not show correct info at the moment, but the total stats include the kills and the events are taken under account.
  16. I do track players leaving units. So if you left a unit after getting shot, the kill should be logged for the hitting player. To be able to identify any issue in my scripts or the statistics query, I'll need an indication of a certain time that someone knows he had a kill and the statistics do not show it. If you guys got something like that, it would help to fix the issues you see.
  17. Guys, please give an example. Just saying that kills do not register is not enough. I got several notices from people about the statistics, and they have been updated each time with the relevant fix.

The new graphics and engine seem very nice and we can't wait to run Blue Flag on it.

  21. Ok, as Maverick wrote, we did some tests together. We believe the issue is as I wrote before, related to the information being pulled from the server. The main issue is not the information being pulled, but the information being written in your client when you are supposed to display server information, slot information, player information etc.. This is how we tested - on DCS Israel once there were more than 5 players in (doesn't matter which player name), the server would disappear from the list. I went ahead and removed the server description, tested again and now we can have 6 players (more available characters to be written in the server information box). I then changed to the 104th mission and now we can also reach more players, so far seen 10 players, I'm guessing we will get the same limit as 104th server - 15. so, most probably, it is only a matter of the server information box size, meaning how many characters it can hold to display. In order to workaround this issue at the moment, you would have decrease the variety of used airplanes on your server to very little, preferably only on one side. This will make sure there is very little information written in the server information box to begin with and you will be able to accommodate more players (depends on player name length). Hopefully ED will now have enough information to get a fix on this issue and give us something soon so we can start up our servers again for the community.
  22. Guys, I'm betting it's a specific module that creates the problem or pilot name. Let's go over what we know - - Briefings create issue. - Mission file size (miz). Briefing is showing in the multiplayer window, once it's gone the server is then listed. What else is shown in the multiplayer window? - Server description. - Mission description. - Pilot information. - Module information. - Rules. The only 2 issues that I see are most dynamic are the Pilot information and Module information. I bet one of those cause problems when the master server tries to pull info from your servers and then fails, at that point probably it stops requesting due to the failure and the server is left unlisted. This is quite an annoying test as we need to test module module, special characters in pilot name etc... Hopefully someone has the time.
  23. To report, there's definitely a memory leak in multiplayer games. DCS process got to 30GB!!! on our server after running DCS for about 10 hours, at that point it crashed.
  24. Yeah we are having the same issue with newly created missions. About the newly created missions ,remove briefing will make it show in case it doesn't show.
