I just got into BS2 about 2 weeks ago. First week I was like.... I can´t control this! Now it´s like oh yeah now I gottcha! Try this... -Set your 3 autopilot´s on (no hold altitud or FD) -Don´t use autoroute (the "R" key) -Last and most important... right after you let go of your trim CENTER your joystick (bring it back to it´s center position) It will not pitch up and down that way. So, trim and a sec. after you let go of trim, center joy! When you fly, keep your eye on your VVI (Vertical Velocity Indicator) don´t go over +5 or -5. This is your main visual guide aide! Good flying... Red, out.

Good! I feel very small up on a summit! It just show´s you that nature is beautifull and could wipe you off the planet if she liked. Which tames most self-prided individuals. I usually hike solo and my MSR HP tent with a weight of 1.5kg is just awsome as a solo tent! My pack is a "Deuter" (made packs in WWII, german company) and a Hagolfs sack, among other gear... FIXED!!! Thanks Jona33 and Cichlidfan and sorry for not posting in the "bugs/problems" thread, didn´t see that. The "boot.ini" file trick worked! The reason it didn´t work the first time for me was because I copied/past the string line but didn´t add the 3GB/ to it! Happy camper know! Having to choose 3GB or not at start-up is a bit of a hassel, but I can live with it, but I can´t live wihtout my BS2 :-) Thanks again, Care, Red...out PD Seems the troll is not so troll!

Thanks Jona33! Just tried that, (new BS2 upgrade install) and yes new logbook and no control config but still can´t jump in a server... same error. Desesperado!

No, BS2 is in a separate folder named DCS Black shark 2, but in the same folder for Eagle Dynamics. The Eagle Dynamics folder has two folders (DCS Black Shark and Ka-50). I tried a install to a different folder for BS2, but that didn´t work either. I tried reinstalling BS1.2 and then BS2 and that didn´t work either... Today I also disactivated and reactivated my BS2 s/n, but no joy either. Both purcheses are about a week apart, so it´s not like I bought BS1 a year ago. I think I did mess up the first install... I bought BS1, then patched to BS1.1.0c, then patched to BS1.2... a week later I upgraded to BS2. So the first time with BS2, I had 3 versions on my dsktop. BS1.1.0c. BS1.2 and BS2 upgrade. 10308 port is open, so I don´t think it´s a port issue and BS2 has a exception on my firewall. I read that I should have installed BS2 upgrade on BS1.2. Either way both have been installed from scratch and noting has changed. You can tell that the uninstall is not clean, because each time I install BS2 upgrade, my logbook and joy set-up (controls) are still the same, so there´s a file(s) somewhere that the uninstall dose not remove! Some type o .lua file I guess... DCS Support has nothing to say for now... Thanks!

I bought the game from DCS online store and have a activation key (s/n), other wise the game would not start... fool! or could have not upgraded from BS1.2! Why would I wanna mess-up my original BS1.2 with a non original upgrade to BS2? Makes no sence to me and 19$ isn´t much, but you seem to know there´s a cracked version out there! So your smarter then me... Keep your smat comments to yourself if your not gona help!

I can´t seem to get BS2 Upgrade (spanish & english) version 1.1.1.1 to load MP games, so aim missing part of the fun! I tried both SPA and ENG versions of the upgrade and with both, I get a .exe error (windows has encounterd a problem DSC BS2.exe and must close this program), which brings me back to the BS2 splash screen (GUI). This happens while mission loading, either by client or as server. I can get in to the "master server" via my login/pass, but when I try to jump into a server and mission loads... while loading objects and land, i get the error. If I try to install the "Russian Inf Hotfix", I get a msg that says "DCS A-10 ENG must be installed".....????? It´s not my internet connection because I have no issues with BS1.2 So I figure I should do a "real" clean install and looking for help... Thanks! My specs: ASUS Barebone Dual core E5700 3@ 250GB HD 2GB Ram nVidia GT440 XP SP-3 So far any help from DCS support is MIA... Care, Red out...

Greetings, I joined a virtual squadron last week and yesterday we had a online tutorial class.. But when I wanted to connect to a multiplayer server/game as a client or server... DCS BS2 upgrade would show a .exe error and close BS2 upgrade! Any help with this please? On the other hand, with BS1.02, I have no problem joining a MP game... I uninstalled both sims, and re-installed them, but no joy for BS2 upgrade on MP. Hope someone could help me out... Thanks! Care, Red...out

Hi, Is the BS2 upgrade functional in DCS World? I read somewhere that only the standalone version of BS2 works in DCSW. Thanks... BTW the whole thing sounds great, aim downloading DCSW now, but I have the BS2 upgrade. Either way, I still would like to try the Su25T and I will buy A-10 and CA in the future. Looking forward to CA alot! If you could add (develop) a sub sim like "Sub Command" (or Janes 688i) into DCSW that would be killer!

Hi Bigfoot, Thank you very much! I renamed the DCS KA-50 to... dCs KA-50, but that didn´t work so I renamed it to... Black Shark. That worked and I could see your missions in "Training", but apon loading I get a DCS.exe error which shuts the mission and brings me back to the main BS2 GUI. No worries BF, I can live with navigateing to your folders via misson tree. I tired your start-up tut and VERY nice! Thank you so much for your effort BF, DCS should take note as this sim is not one of the easy ones! Again, thank you BF! MSR? Mountain Seafty Research... The best mountain gear I own! Edit: Ok found them! If I navagate to the missions folder tree I can use them, but they don´t show up on the training GUI. Yes there´s a folder in training called DCS KA-50, along with your interactive folders.

Greetings! Sorry but I can´t seem to find your missions! I downloaded from ED your training missions and pasted to my BS2 folder (overwrite), but don´t see them in "Training" or "Missons".
