Ok, this is how you could do it. It would take two of you to accomplish this:
You want a lazer return shining on the inside bottom of the chimney, but you can't laze it yourself from a launchable angle. It has to be done from straight above the chimney, right?
So, you get your buddy to hover straight overhead of the chimney, lase the bottom of the inside of the chimney, then you lase the top of the chimney (using same laser code as buddy) from a horizontal angle, and launch. Wait for the missile to climb, then when its over the target and going vertical (and buddy's laser becomes visible to the missile), you turn off your laser, and let it go after buddy's.
Too bad that chimney isn't actually hollow. This would be fun to try.
