LOL. I just bought Tapatalk because it is so convenient. In fact, now that I have been using it for awhile typing this from my GN2 is ridiculous. I sold all my DCS games a year ago. I still come back to see if something more interesting than P-51 will be developed (like AH-64D or F-14 (any)). No Tapatalk? You should contract a forum member (a moderator?) to arrange the setup of Tapatalk and compensate that person with license keys for your products? Cheap, easy way to outsource a function which might take all of one day to complete.

+1 here. Same situation. X-52 is a good starter, G940 was pretty good, but now that I have settled into my HAWG, there's no looking back. Also, I do miss *somewhat* the G940's FFB for IL-2, but not enough with the precision that my TM has. This is the only HOTAS that I've had where I am not worrying about the HOTAS, I'm flying and enjoying it. If worse comes to worst, buy a G940 from Amazon.com; if you don't like it, they're pretty much like Wal-Mart when it comes to returns. Really, if you can save the extra, just get the Warthog, update the firmware, get a powered USB hub (do some research) and never look back.

ClearDark, I was testing 1.25 x64 this morning and while I can get the UFC to work now, there is still a bug. Before I forget, I really, really, like the way that the panels will stay put unless you click the "drag" button. I was accidentally moving them all the time. Thanks! Now back to the issue; I can use any combination of the key shortcuts {BACKSPACE} {TAB} {CLEAR} . . . {F12} {NUMLOCK} {SCROLLLOCK} together with any number 0-9 (1-0 on keyboard top row); however, I cannot use any of the Alpha keys A-Z. For instance, if I use: <KeyCommand>{LCONTROL}{LSHIFT}1</KeyCommand> or <KeyCommand>{LCONTROL}1</KeyCommand> or <KeyCommand>1</KeyCommand> these combinations work just fine. In Notepad I can see a "1" every time I press the key. However, if I use: <KeyCommand>{LCONTROL}{LSHIFT}A</KeyCommand> or <KeyCommand>{LCONTROL}A</KeyCommand> or <KeyCommand>A</KeyCommand> these combinations will not work. In Notepad I see nothing. I have tested the Alpha key combinations on the MFCD's and the UFC; It doesn't matter where I map the Alpha keys, they won't work. However if I use any of the 1-0 keys to the UFC it works great! :thumbup: Thanks again! Just let me know if I am "bugging" you too much. :lol::lol: P.S. If I knew a little more about programming, I would offer to help. I only have used VB.NET for making business applications, but never anything like what you have created. Thank you for this wonderful application! I was able to configure both of my MFCD's without a problem. I increased there size to 150%, repositioned them and used a 600x600 display of my MFCD's on my Secondary monitor. The MFCD's work perfectly. I have a problem with the UFC. I assigned keys to the UFC buttons in DCS:A-10C, but the UFC will not activate them. I used the list of {KEYPRESSES} that you listed, but they won't work right. To test I opened a notepad and opened the ShowcaseProfile.xml and operated the UFC from my desktop. The output was not what I entered in my custom .xml at all. The only keypresses that worked were those that were assigned a value of "1". I will upload the notepad output and my custom .xml; please let me know if there is something that I did wrong. I re-read your original post so I understand what's happening now. You want your Primary (Main) display on the Right, and your Secondary display on the Left. Read my post above yours. It explains that I couldn't get DCS: A-10C to do that either. It works in Windows, but it will not work that way in the game. Your lua file is correct, and if it could work, it would work. IDK why it won't. There have been quite a few people in this thread that have tried to configure like you and I, but just can't make it work. I think that DCS: Blackshark was the same way; I spent days trying to get it configured with the Secondary Display on the left. Can't be done. You can put your Secondary display on the Right, Above, or Below using a custom lua and it works just fine independent of the physical positions of your monitors.

Are you starting in a cold pit? Try starting in a mission where the Warthog is hot; if the appropriate systems are not turned on, you wont see anything on the MFCD's.

First off, thanks so much for the excellent guide! My experience with setting up 2x 1920x1080 monitors was relatively uneventful. I wanted to note that while both of my monitors are the same 1920x1080 resolution, one is an ASUS VE276Q 27" and the other is an Acer 23". This physical difference in size did not cause any issues in setting up MM. I was able to configure two successful set-ups: Primary display on Left; Secondary display on Right. Primary display on Top; Secondary display on Bottom. My physical layout is actually with the Primary display on the Right and Secondary display on the Left. I use set-up #2 because I find it easier to move down to get to my Left display vs. move Right to get to my Left display. Also, I can use Windows 7 Snap on my Top display, on both sides of either display, and to snap to the top of the Bottom display I just use WIN + Up Arrow shortcut. FYI: No amount of experimentation was able to let me use a set-up with Primary display on Left and Secondary display on Right. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My MFCD's always displayed perfectly on my Secondary display; however, my Primary display was "squashed" at first. I'd like to recommend editing your guide to include an option when creating a custom lua file. In your guide it says that setting the aspect ratio is not necessary: I think it would be a good idea to suggest that IF your Primary (Center) display appears to be "squashed", you MAY have to input the aspect ratio of your Primary (Center) by dividing the horizontal/vertical dimensions of that display ONLY. When I say ONLY, I mean to only calculate this aspect with respect to the resolution of the SINGLE (Primary, Center) display, and not the combined resolution of ALL displays. After some experimentation, I was able to determine that in order for my Primary display to appear "unsquashed" I had to manually enter my aspect ratio of 1.777777778 (append length at your discretion) when using a 1920x1080 resolution. I replaced the lua's in the DCS A-10C\MissionEditor\modules directory but still had no joy. I tried the fixes outlined in all of the links in my previous post and none of them solved my problem. I ended up reinstalling DCS: A-10C and applying the patch. After that everything worked as it should; the game seemed to load faster, too! After uninstalling I manually deleted the following directories before re-installing: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics and C:\Users\[user Name]\Saved Games\DCS Warthog

Just picked up Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Found out that trimmer hat is mapped to view; I use TrackIR so I don't need the view mapped to this hat, and I want to be able to trim with this hat. If I try to change ANY mappings in game, not just the mappings for the trimmer hat, I get an error. Any ideas?

Can you turn the labels on in those pictures?

Using Logitech 5.09 and updated to 1.42 Firmware My main issue is with the throttle. I have opened the "axes graphs" by using Right CTRL + Enter. Watching the throttle graph: 1) As I move the throttle forward the throttle indicator "slider" in the "axes graphs" doesn't begin to move until about 40-50% range. From there it follows all the way to 100%. 2)When moving the throttle back the "slider" seems to follow on a 1:1 movement with the actual throttle handle. 3)If I reverse from there it's the same as #1 unless I haven't traveled past the 50% point. Is this the same as the "reversal bug"? Other than that I am still learning how to setup the Logitech Profiler (must use persistent profile....sigh) and everything else seems to work fine for me. Wish I had never bought this HOTAS. What's worse is it has sat in my closet for over a year without me being able to use it due to stupid life problems. Brand new. I've lost more. Probably won't trust Logitech for some time as far as game controllers go. Anyways. Hopefully a 3rd firmware update might fix this? I'm going to try out some other simulators tomorrow to see if they have the same behaviors. Thanks for any help. I've searched and searched and searched these forums for an accurate, collaborated, coherent description of the reversal bug; I can't seem to find one that gives me a definitive answer. Peace!

I am assuming that since FC2 is an upgrade FC, then I should have LOMAC + FC + 1.12b installed first? Also, obviously I haven't installed FC2 yet, but is there a user's manual for the upgrade? Or are the changes not to the basic controls of LO? Thanks for the help.
