Hey guys, I bought gunfighter MCG Pro, extension and pedals. Words cannot describe the flying experiences. Tips MCG Pro Stick - use springs 50 and cam 10 on both Axis Pedals - just plug into the black box Follow the instructions to update the firnware and always use the online manual not the one in the box. Fixed Hi, Confirmed DataLink is working in the latest branch of 2.5 openbtea. Now there is a new issue. I did a quick mission to the firing range. I added a datalink target for my wingman and told him to engage. He just dropped and hovered close to the ground. So there seems to be an AI pathing issue. See attached screenshot

The datalink does not save and send targets to wingmen. I use this a lot, the cockpit is really hard to see when looking at instruments, gamma is really bad on the targeting IT-24 screen. Hard to see if buttons are on or off. In 1.5 these issues are not present and the helicopter functions really well. One issue I see in 1.5 is the AI for wingmen is not good when asked to engage targets with Bombs. Cheers Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hey Rudel, Updating the graphics is great and appreciated, but the most important thing is to fix the bugs with the Datalink not working, and automatic ndb from outer to inner does not work. With datalink not working too save and send targets in 2.5 renders the helicopter useless for a lot of campaigns. My suggestion is to fix the functionality of crucial combat systems and then fix the cockpit and upgrade the graphics engine. Cheers Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I have had problem with io before. It ended up being my psu. Try and eliminate the issue at a repair place. Try different psu then Motherboard - ensure no shorts on mount Memory Graphics card Move all the way up. This is the only way to eliminate the hardware. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I went back to 1.5 version, the helicopter is perfect there, datalink works, cockpit visuals are way better. I'll be waiting for the Ka-50 fixes. Hi, How can I run DCS World 1.5 and 2.5. The problem I have is many things in the KA-50 is broken in DCS 2.5. So I would like to gp back to 1.5. Right now, I have downloaded 1.5 Updater. How can I configure it not to upgrade to 2.5? It really is frustrating not being able to use the KA-50 in DCS 2.5 with all its features. E.g. I used to use Data Link Ingress to drop bombs, but Data Link is broken, the bugs are so numerous for KA-50 that I am happy to go back to DCS World 1.5. Any help is appreciated to have the KA-50 working like it used to :smilewink:

The KA-50 is in dire need of bug fixes. Many campaign missions are rendered useless without the fixes. Gamma Cockpit Lighting Data Link AUtomatic NDB Outer -> Inner Visibility of crucial cockpit items such as LED on/off, IT screen.

Make sure you set the joystick type e.g spring or no spring in settings. You need to hold trim in when you change direction or pitch. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
