  1. After some tests, I can confirm that if you want to use the 2 stages trigger of the HOTAS Warthog for T0/T1/TV, you can not use the default available key binds. You need the mod. And it’is really a pity that Heatblur does not provide such keybinds by default because using the 2 stages trigger from the Warthog is what is the closest to the Viggen radar stick trigger. And using the mod comes with the disadvantage that you can not lock the MAV before trigger unsafe. It is kind of a dilemma but using the trigger is ergonomically a must for me. If Heatblur would had such new keybinds, I would be very happy. Pierre

Hi, I think that when you are on the ground, with LS as the waypoint, pressing the ref button just re align the whole flight plan in reference to the starting runway heading (that’s why you need to be perfectly aligned before pressing the button). If not doing this, the nav system realignment is done automatically during the takeoff run and if you have crosswind, drift due to wind, it may then introduce some error. Pierre

I use the 2/3 additional button mod (a few post below), but thanks for the head-up because I did not know I could achieve the same thing with default buttons : I will try it and hope it will solve my problem. I saw a video earlier where the MAV locked before trigger unsafe so it definitely a problem on my side. Pierre
  5. Nope, I did some test again, and at least on my setup, the MAV do not hold the lock if the safety is kept safe which is contrary to what is stated in the manual. As soon as I unsafe, I am able to lock and keep locked. It maybe due to the fact I use the buttons mod that allow me to use the 3 pos trigger of the warthog for T0/T1/TV...works well for nav fixes but may not for the MAV... Or, maybe the manual is wrong and you have to unsafe first so that a missile is selected, and only then you are able to lock. (which may seem logical because you have to cycle the safety bracket in order to select next missile) Pierre
  6. Hi, I fly single player only, and I wonder how the LANTIRN work will be managed in SP. Will there be a cheat so that we can control the LANTIRN from front seat (If I recall correctly there is a LANTIRN scree repeater in the front seat also) ? Or we will have to jump in back seat? If so, I guess it will be difficult to handle the weapon run while adjusting the LANTIRN laser spot. I really wonder:smilewink: Pierre
  7. Hi there, I am learning how to use the RB75 but it seems I can not lock the target if I keep the safety bracket closed. In the manual, my understanding is that I should be able to lock a target and then open the safety bracket to launch. In mine, if the safety bracket is closed, the RB75 does not want to keep the lock and roll back to bore sight. What should be the correct behavior? Also, is it correct behavior that the missile sight through EP13 is not ground stabilisés? It is a new y question ^^ Best regards, Pierre
  8. Ok, seems it was the “synchronize HOTAS commands” option that was crashing the game. Just when the crash occurred I heared some switches being switched, that was the hint ^^ I am relieved! Hope it will help others to know that. Pierre

  10. Hello, I have a weird bug that keeps crashing DCS as soon as I click the FLY button when launching a mission. I only fly AJS37 in stable version.   11. Thanks for your advice. I tried renaming the Saved game folder to start new and I managed to launch the mission past the FLY button. But just when I switched to external view, DCS froze again. Since then, it freezes again as soon as I click the FLY button. Will try to post the last lines of log on Heatblur sub-forum because it seems to be directly related to the Viggen...   13. Hi, I am unable to fly a mission using AJS37 since last update. The game just crash when I hit the FLY button on briefing screen. Trackir was working fine because I could see the view moving in the background. As soon as I hit FLY, the game freeze. I have no way to exit the game properly, for some reason, I can not access task manager window to kill the game process. I need to shut down the PC. This bug really pisses me off because I have little time and here it goes in trouble shooting bugs instead of flying :mad: Well, I hope someone may help me on this one, or the F14 dream will not come true:thumbup: I already tried the repair option, as well as deleting the shaders folders with no luck. I still have to try flying another mission.   14. Hello, I am wondering what is currently the level of operability of AI wingmen with the AJS37? Is it working well or is it still buggy as I can read in older posts? Where can I find informations about how to set up my mission in the editor to ensure my AI wingmen will fire to the correct target? Is there anything to set up regarding the waypoint which will become the target waypoint? Any proper order to choose from the radio options? Hope you may help me figure out if I can count on my wingmen or if it only for the look ;) Best regards, Pierre
  15. Thank you for your advices! I settled with a very little deadzone and -15 curve. But it seems to me it is really weird that the aircraft is so sensible on the yaw axis during the takeoff run whereas it si not at all sensible during taxying... I can not figure out an explanation for this phenomemon. Pierre

  17. Hi there, I am currently relearning the AJS37 for the 1st time in 2.5.4. I really like this plane! I was wondering if there is any consensus or advices regarding axis curves for Yaw and maybe for roll and pitch also? I find the NSW very sensitive with the rudder when starting the takeoff, and also in flight when trying to coordinate my turns. I set an S curve shape for Yaw but it seems to only have effect at low speed taxi . I use Hoyas Warthog. Any advices would be appreciated, Best regards, Pierre

  20. Flying 80 m AGL and M0.9 with SLAVE SI to FRAN I managed to get the symbology displayed at the bottom of the HUD and deliver the bombs. However the time line still remains well below HUD frame. I need to raise the seat to see it and it is not very conveniant to fly at the same time with such unatural point of view. The time line was flashing, I wonder what it mean? Pierre
  21. Thanks for the advices, Flying lower than 100 m seems really low to me, but I don't know how it was done in real life. Also I doubt that flying faster than M0.9 is realistic. Never heard of ground deliveries at speed so close to M1.0 or faster. But once again I am no expert^^ I will try with SLAVE SI switch in FrAN then, Best regards, Pierre

  24. Hello, I am trying hard to get a proper High Drag bombs delivery using the training mission. I can not get the symbology to display in the HUD properly. If flying level with right parameters, M0.85 and 130 m AGL, HUD remains blank. It seems I can get the circle and dot to display if I push forward a bit or if I fly as low as 100 m. How do you guys deliver the HD bombs? Am I doing something wrong? I request some help there, Best regards, Pierre
  25. Hello again, I am flying a training mission with 2 wingmen AI viggen, carrying full ARAK load. Is it possible to make them attack the same target area as me, following me in the popup? I actually do not understand very well how I am able to contact my wingmen. I am using the simple radio panel on the front Dashboard on AM tuned to 127,5 which seems to be the frequency to contact my wingmen but I can't get any acknowledgement from them. Any help would be appreciated, Best regards, Pierre
