Mig21 activation issue after memory failure
LFCChameleon_Silk replied to Stonehouse's topic in Payment and Activation
ok so i got mine to work, I went module manager unticked the module as being installed (this really shouldnt matter but included incase that was it) exited game, opened regedit as admin (like from start menu search when you type regedit and it shows in the search right click and go to run as admin) navigated to [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Leatherneck Simulations\DCS:MiG-21 BiS\Keys] manually in the left pane, then deleted the entire keys folder, closed regedit went back into game, re-enabled the module by clicking the green arrow, took my key, went multiplayer held shift and entered my serial for the MiG-21, used an activation but its working again. hope this helps. -
Mig21 activation issue after memory failure
LFCChameleon_Silk replied to Stonehouse's topic in Payment and Activation
add me to the bunch now too, installed iGPU driver and adjusted how much RAM it uses in BIOS and now I am stuck unable to activate with it having error 8 activations left, registry kill doesn't work and proactive website still leads back to the activation crashing the activation window. -
trying to load rockeyes and rockets like the presets have them, cant load the right weapons its like it thinks I have an A-10C and not an A-10A.

Autonomous CAP and GCI AI fighter script

I don't imagine the devs would want to redo every mission they ever made for DCS 2.0 :P neither would we! -
Autonomous CAP and GCI AI fighter script
LFCChameleon_Silk replied to SNAFU's topic in Mission Editor
well for what its worth SNAFU the script you have created thus far is absolutely terrific, brings things closer to a truly dynamic battlefield something that I always strive to create when I make missions. even set piece missions benefit from a more dynamic approach, although admittedly it does get tiresome to test scripts all the time though. I think for this very reason I went back to basic trigger logic for my latest mission. -

I wish I could find the energy to work on this script some more but I just got so burnt out with scripting and with MiG-21 out just enjoying it so much. -
Operation Biotoxin
LFCChameleon_Silk replied to LFCChameleon_Silk's topic in User Created Missions General
Please test it out on your server (especially if you love the MiG-21 as much as I am) and feel free to leave comments. Over next while I will be running this mission on my server (=LFC= Public Server) whenever I go to play. I had some really solid play tests and many simulated games to get the flights just right and the result is something really nice in my opinion, please check it out! -
I would post an example mission but I need to go to bed, like I said it should work I cant see why it wouldn't but perhaps there is some kinda SSE problem. at mission start trigger have it randomly set flag 1 to values between 0 - 10 then make 2 more triggers that are once triggers that have conditions flag 1 is less then 4 >> load mission "this mission" then have 2nd trigger as flag 1 is more then 5 >> load mission "2nd mission" you could cut it up into more slices for more missions or plumb in info from the current mission such as if group dead then set flag to x and then load this mission. there is lots of possibilities.
-
nah blue contacting EWR doesn't work, same problem in my mission... red can contact the other one I placed NP. I'd say this is a bug, at least give us english subtitles to get the information... there are many reasons i wish to use EWR over AWACS.
-
simple really just don't use the campaign builder, create single missions that link together with load mission trigger based on flags, I dunno what I'm missing here but when i say to load mission using load mission trigger it loads the mission I have set in the box. unless there is some new bug that is effecting the SSE.

Any Word on Fix for Incorrect Plane Loading?
LFCChameleon_Silk replied to Dembizkit's topic in General Questions

literally lucked into noticing it but at least I wasn't useless for once like I am when I'm in a dogfight :P -
OPERATION BIOTOXIN 1.20E FINAL Player Slots: 12 * MiG-21Bis "Fishbed-L/N" 2 * F-15C "Eagle" 1 * MiG-29S "Fulcrum" 1 * Su-27 "Flanker B" 1 * Su-25T "Toad" 1 * Su-25 "Frogfoot" 1 * A-10C "Warthog" 1 * A-10A "Thunderbolt II" 2 * Tactical Commander (For Human AWACs) 2 * Observer Description: 24 Slot CO-OP Mission We have Intel suggesting that a plant near Terek in Russian Territory has been creating and stockpiling a chemical nerve agent known as Soman and have been given a green light by the UN Security Council for a precision strike on the facility. We also have word that a shipment will be leaving the factory tonight. A Su-25 flight will intercept the trucks carrying the chemicals at Elhotovo rail crossing and dispose of them with cluster munitions and canister bomblets. There are heavy defenses located around the rail tracks so we are dispatching a flight American A-10Cs to help sanitize the area of air defenses, specifically any strela launchers that maybe endangering the Su-25 package. Soman and it's weaponized form is classified as a weapon of mass destruction or "WMD" by the United Nations according to the UN Resolution 687. Stockpiling of this chemical was outlawed by the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993 where it was classified as a Schedule 1 substance. Soman was the third of the so-called G-series nerve agents to be discovered along with GA (tabun), GB (sarin), and GF (cyclosarin). This operation is extremely time sensitive and will require cooperation with Georgian and UN forces stationed in the area for the execution of the strike to be possible. Notes: Don't let the 24 slots fool you, you can play this mission by yourself and choose any role you wish and the AI will fly the other tasks, or you could load up an entire side for straight CO-OP play but on a massive scale, or you can play it as a PvP mission... its balanced, tested and fun, enjoy! :pilotfly: Temp Download: Download Latest Version

the wrong slot selection has been caused by this fix in the latest patch apparently random skill setting is actually client, try using a different setting for aircraft and report if your still being placed in the wrong planes. stumbled upon it when creating a new mission after i had set a bunch to random (a setting i seldomly ever use) and then bam slots started messing up. not sure if the workaround has been posted but this should work for now.

yea I'm having a blast with it, definetly rekindled my want to be flying in DCS world till EDGE comes out.
-
to be completley honest it could just be I was in training, the one time i went off runway in non training was a bit iffy but the pancaking is definitely something I must have been doing in training, because it should kill outright easily.
-
LOL I dunno I can't replicate it outside of training, maybe I just got lucky once and the rest were in training because I certainly am dying plenty fine trying to emulate previous things! feel like a jack ass now. :P
-
ok so im diving 45 degree, CCIP bombing run in training, I drop good effect, but wait I'm diving to fast and to steep I pull up to late and I pancake (again) i bounce off ground and continue flying. ugh no... just no. if its because I'm immortal I will laugh here let me go do something stupid :P EDIT: yea training must be immortal that still doesn't explain my other pancake incidents tho in ME.
-
no I'm afraid its just made of rubber :P
-
I'm talking like no wheels down, split-S gone wrong, pancaking, doing cartwheel and being ok, maybe even with wings still attached. try flying it without take off flaps go 300kmh, raise gear and skid you will most likely survive even with some rolling, I find this very hard to believe... my rudder was still working as well.... although of all the cases this is probably the most believable in that it could be survivable... (can you guess what I forgot to do for this to occur :P) pancaking... nah, the G-forces and impact would be far to hard and you should fireball, I have never seen any footage of a pancaked plane not exploding. don't get me wrong I love the module, just would like the ground damage to be a bit more real.
-
I don't think you need a track file, just bounce off the ground a bit... you can pancake many times and bounce off the ground and roll around and survive with crash landings and no fireball. experiment.
-
low altitude warning beep, wtf is that telling me that I'm going to fast? non-sense. having followers doesn't make someone knowledgeable, theres tons of people who have thousands of viewers on twitch and other video sites that I wouldn't bother watching... having said that theres nothing wrong with producing videos if your fans enjoy them.
