hi HMA! thanks for your reply! im using JSGME but didnt use it for this... so i copied the strings from the "old" file but this didnt work... will try to use the old files and exchange it with jsgme... EDIT: stupid me... everything working fine withe the "old" backup-files exchanged with jsgme. thanks for the hint HMA!!!

hey guys! re-activating this thread, because this "hack" doesen't work anymore since i updated to 1.5... i can write my changes in the .lua-files and in game settings they show up but i can't use them anymore (to click on it and configure my buttons) see this picture: (my files are named with "LNR") and this is its lua file: is there a new file structure or some other changes? or am i doing something wrong? any help is appreciated...

the last days i updated dcs to 1.5 and found out, that when i start the huey by my self, as soon as i turn on HYD-switch my inputs are getting ignored. they are slightley shivering but no reaction. when turning hydraulics off, i can conntrol as usual. but when i do a game start with huey already running, i cant reproduce this failure. even when shutting down and starting again. i already did a repair, still the same... any ideas? or maybe a known bug which i didnt know?

Die normale/"Urversion" Open Beta Open Alpha 2.0 Wenn ich dich richtig verstehe, kann ich meine "normale" Version deinstallieren, da ich es zum Ersten eh nicht mehr verwende und zum Zweiten die Open Beta (bald) zur normalo-version wird, richtig? Und dann kann ich die Open Alpha 2.0 dann auch deinstallieren und alles läuft dann auf Basis der jetzigen Open Beta? Sorry und danke ;)

Hm, i could imagine friday is not a good day for release. because if there would be a major bug, the devs and/or ed have to make a weekend-shift... hope i'm wrong, though :joystick:

Thanks joey, but no luck so far. Also looking for the aeroflot Livery for yak40, but I can only find Ukrainian and Georgian... Edit: c17 found... Named "c17-okras" Still searching for aeroflot yak...

could someone please point me to the right folder where the ".dds" from c-17a is located? it's not in \Bazar\Liveries\c-17a (only description .lua) it's not in \Bazar\World\textures it's not in \Bazar\Textures or at least i can't find it there... :cry: :helpsmilie:

Hi, Im on helicopters and fixed wing. AB212, Caravan, KingAir... But we also have real Gazelle pilots in the team and Pat, Olli and Sven are working every day very hard on the module. You helo-guys will be blown away ;)

You will get it as real as THEY want, and "they" only want the best for you guys. We're a bunch of real pilots, some of us are gazelle pilots, and we are very satisfied with the fm for now and it's getting better and better. Due to the many updates in DCS versions PolyChop has much to do in re-coding to be up to date with the actual release versions. We'll continue testing and improving, so PolyChop will release an awsome experience in virtual helicopter flying :thumbup: Just be patient...

Wags was flying with all Autopilot/SAS on, flying without definitely looking different and not that stable ;) And they ARE working very hard to bring a very authentic flightmodel to you guys. You'll be blown away!

Hi Leute! Habs zwar schon im englischen Teil vom Forum gefragt (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2569303#post2569303) bis dato jedoch noch keine Antwort erhalten und hoffe hier evtl. Hilfe zu bekommen, da ich mich in deutsch leichter tue. Möchte gerne bei der UH1 die Cablecutter auch an der "slick-version", also dem nackigem Hubschrauber ohne externe Befestigungspunkte "montiert" haben... Ist das irgendwie möglich? Im Template werden sie ja ganz normal dargestellt, somit müsste man ja DCS irgendwie klarmachen können, dass es die Cablecutter auch für die slick-version ausliest wenn ich das möchte, oder? Evtl. irgendeine Änderung in der description.lua? Hat da einer eine Idee vielleicht? Danke, LG

hey guys, quick question... (Huey Skinning) i would like to have shown the cablecutters (the tall ones) also on slick version. but they only show up with "external hardpoints" on. is it possible with some changes in the description.lua? thanks!

Yeah, my fault. I should have better written "I personally don't know any other game..." (but that doesn't even mean a thing, I only know DCS and ED :D)

I also voted NO This sim and it's community is relatively small compared to other genres (I think the dev's really need some money - we can only profit from it). There are already two free aircraft (even one with clickable cockpit) AND a free map with access to everything. There's no other "game" with free full access to everything without a time limited trial/ testperiod or without having access to everything including multiplayer. You really can get a good insight of what DCS is and can decide whether if it is satisfying for you or not and if your pc can handle it.

Go for it, I did exactly the same and it's wonderful :-) No more messing around with bezelcorrections and multimonitorstuff... just enjoying the clear curved 4k view
