Yes I have tried all possible OS`s but I get the same response, I have also tried starting trhu ModMan - same error. Looks like once FC2 is installed as an upgrade to Lomac then one can only play FC2. George

After installing Lock On followed by FC1 and then FC2 I noticed I still have Lock On shoewn as a seperate entry. However when I click on the Lockon.exe I get an error from Starforce Copy Protection that it can only be run on an earlier version of Windows. I`m using W7 x64 I had hoped to run Lockon seperately to use the Ironhand turtorials. Can anyone tell me if its possible ?? Many thanks George

I`ve installed some of the Ironhand Training files via ModMan but I would like to usw the Air Refueling and this won`t open. Can some one enlighten me ?? Many thanks George

Hey ROE-Wedge did your resolve your problem `cos I am in deep mire myself with this stupid key activation nonsense.:mad: I blewup a motherboard+processor and my HD died on me so it is very much back to basics. I noted my serial key but of course Starforce doesnt recognise it and I don`t know where to go to get it sorted. If you solved your prob perhas you could advise me please Thanks George

pleased to say that the downloading problem appears over - I`m currectly re-dowloading Flaming Cliffs Thanks to the backroom boy for getting things back to norm George (raffer)

Due to a severe system and hard drive crash I have lst most of my LockOn files incluing Flaming Cliffs etc etc. When I try to re download i am unable to get any response after clicking on the `ddownload button` Is there a problem? Can anyone advise me on which patches are available so that I get things reloaded in the right order. Many thanks George

I recently started using the Firefox Browser instead of my usual Opera BUT when i try to enter the LockOn Forum I get an error message saying they should open in a new window - which they unfortunately do not so I must now activate "new windows opening support". Can someone tell me please, how do I do this ?? raffer

Thanks for your input guys :-) Before reading it I had already decided to work my way thru the startup programmes and eventually found the problem was with McAfee Security Centre. Once shut down FC ran just fine. Raffer

Thanks Bengo - I tried this following the same suggestion from `Ironhand` but unfortunately it didn`t work. Is it possible that an motherboard soundcard woudl cause a problem? raffer

I recently asked for help with a problem when using Ironhands tutorials and the default Training programmes - after a few minutes flying the sound and screen stuttered and eventually locked up, with a reboot the only way out. Since then I have discovered that this problem happens not only in Training but also in Free flight, Missions etc etc. It would seem to me that Lock On doesn`t like something with my set up...but how on earth do I trace the culprit. As a very non-technical individual I would be grateful for any advice or suggestions that would help me before I start the long and very laborious task of removing programmes and trying Lock On without them. Having read a review of Flaming Cliffs in PC Pilot, I bought and installed it over a clean installation of Lock On v1.02. I then added Supermod09 to get the Naval Aviation update BUT despite my best endeavours I am unable to get a Training Programme to run more than a few moments without the sound breaking up followed by the screen stuttering and finally everything locks up. Free flight seems to be OK but I would like to learn "How too" using the training progs. I`ve looked thru the Forum and this problem appears to have been happening with other folk but unfortunately as an elderly non-tech body I couldn`t understand the various suggestions made to cure the prolem. Although I have on my third re-install decided not to use the 1.12 upgrade until I get assurance that it OK If someone out there can help me in English-speak rather than Computer-speak I would be most grateful Many thanks George Greeting from the Scottish Borders

OK Found Loman 4.0 on a German web and this has installed your mods OK BUT I still can`t figure out why I`m getting this stuttering and freeze ups. I have read thru the forums and see it appears to be a problem with quite a numbe of guys. Unfortunately being a non-tech elderly flyer I am unable to understand what most of them are say in regard to overscoming this problem so if anyone has an amswer in plain-speak, I would be very grateful. I`ve resinstalled LO:FC 3 times now and am only using a couple of addons but the problem exists Cheers George

Thanks for the info - I tried to download Loman v4.0 from "CheckSix" but the file (quote) couldn`t be found (unquote) so I located LoMan Final v2.1 and installed that. However, when I tried to use Loman to install both your Weapons Mod v11 and the Supermod09, Loman said they were NOT Loman addons and asked if I wanted to delete them. I noticed your comment about FC v1.12 which I am using and wondered if there is some incompatibility, because when flying the Training missions or Tracks after a few minutes things start to stutter and then the prog locks up and I have to reboot. Any thoughts please Regards George

Newbie advice please Just downloaded the Weapon Mod which I assume is OK for Lomac:FC and again I assume is copied directly into the root Lomac:FC folder BUT is the addon.lma3 file also copied over and if so where too?? I noticed another mod download had a addon.lma3 file but a different size. Do the need to be added together ands how Appreciate any help guys Regards George

Can anyone help please? I have just installed a fresh copy of Lock On and upgraded to 1.02 I then purchased and installed Flaming Cliffs plus the update v1.12. However, when i try to activate either Auromatically or Manually I get an error that my Serial Number is invalid. I copied and pasted the Serial Number from the webpage that acknowledged my order so it should be OK. Any help would be appreciated Many thanks George
