  2. MMMuuuhahahaaaaaaaa....
  3. Very nice links, thanks for the information! :joystick:
  4. Well, Being that it still seems up in the air about the Gun on the KA-50, have we forgot anything? I mean A-10 flyers Know how nice it feels too kill any form of AAA on a nice dive run. How would the KA-50 be compared 2 the A-10 in SEAD?
  5. Ahhhhh......... So were back on topic....SO in a high-tec-state of the art battle field the KA-50 falls into which part of the poll STATS..? Evevn with upgrades and such?
  6. Got the link, please.
  7. Hummm...strange....got a link?
  8. Ok, Here is an example of "State of the Art" in the KA-50 gun. This statement is representational in form. The Ka-50's gun was first made out of steel, then developers of the KA-50 discovered a new stronger, lighter, heat-resistant material. The developers then used the same blue-print specks and built the same gun out of this new material, making an old version new and "state of the art"
  9. That's nice! Hummm I never looked at it that way. Thanks for the on topic information. :smilewink:
  10. I did go back thats why I talked about the "Gun" again. Also all of the KA-50's air frames, and all of the hundreds of parts, MFD's, ect.ect have not been up-graded too state of the art materials or tools? Hummmm...In all truth If the KA-50 has never been fitted with new state of the art equipment and some one can prove it Ill buy it.
  11. Ahhhh I get it now, thats why the gun can only probe to the right? What about the AH-64? Or the SR-71? As the poll states 50% think its state of the art?
  12. I do not know anything or very little about where it has served in combat.
  13. I guess we must be in misunderstanding, both are state of the Art. We get updates weekly due too mission goals, weather/climate, geological factors, and new materials. Dismissal with my "Grandpa", by the way he passed at 102 years old :) is a far shot from current production and development that I see day too day. If you could explaine more about the "Grandpa" thing I will kindly listen too what it means in your eyes. Sorry GG
  14. That's strange we just shipped over 100 front sight housings and other goodies today for the AH-64, I think its one of "today's Helos".
  15. Hummmm.....well lets make an analogy. The human body has been the same for thousands of years but our ability too make tools and our Cognitive reasoning skills have "Upgraded" along time. Just as the KA-50 and the AH-64 might be old air frames but there internal devices "Tools" have changed.
  16. Ok so this is what I gather, Technology as far as "Filtering" has not made ground clutter a issue of the past? With all of the filtering and "Shape-recognition" CPU-processes in today's Helos, soft wear still can not distinguish multiple ground targets on the move? Hummm...Even with the small scale AI in helos It should be a number 1 priority 2 make multiple moving ground targes trackable and ingageable.
  17. Why is that strange? Would this not be a Technological advantage? A gun-optical system that can "Act like" TWS, whats strange about it?
  18. Hi, Hummm....I guess I can buy the "Store multiple target points" Also is there really any difference between a "I-R and radar" signature or return too a computer? As humans we can understand the difference with our cognitive logic. So why cant EOS's track multiple targets? AH-64 does this.
  19. Hi, Hummm....strange I figured in the KA-50 one could "LAZE" lets say 3 targets, shoot a burst at one, then the gun auto-locks the 2nd and the third. Like TWS in the mighty F-15c in LOMAC-FC. Again a time factor in combat. Strange........:book:
  20. Hi, Sure, but no detail on performance or multiple targeting with the gun.
  21. I did not vote, all of them have great team leaders, missions, and Ace pilots too hone your skills. Some of the rivalry or miscomunication between "KEY PEOPLE" in the Hyper-Lobby world should be put too rest; reguardless! But +1 to RVE for the new advancements in Mission evolution. Im very impressed. :joystick:
  22. Im suprised that no one has piped up who has actualy flown the KA-50 Sim. Hummmm..... I guess its "Classified". As far as whats going too happen thats all up to the mission planers. Im sure we will all have a blast when it gets too the consumers. Its going too be a blast, flying low hitting trees, cats, snakes, snails, I could use some help here guys.
  23. Rgr, :joystick:
  24. Thats what were are discussing here. I have not flown the KA-50 but after seeing the Video of the gun I questioned the Gun Placement and movement limitaions. :)
