Right, GG....."A 30mm round" hows about 20 or 100 of them hitting the front of the tank with EFP in the 30mm rounds. They will go right into 4 inch armor plating reguardless of armor angle.

My money is on the Eagle, you just need to know how to move it. I dont think I got hit yet by any Flankers on this server, its cool playing Cat and Mouse. Your piloting skills are really tested here. I also really feel that you guys are just scratching the serfice with your softwear, Im sure you guys will write some really good stuff in the near future. In this server the old lock up fire and forget is gone, along with those ET's. I value a good "Flight" battle instead of ETs', R-77s, and 120s. :thumbup:

We will just see what happens when we get the sim. I can already guess the many of the attack runs will be from a right side flanking attack. We might need to reopen this thread after we get the game to see what we all think after some combat. Ill guess that some of us might change our minds or change attack runs.

Right, with the pilot needing to "Move" his KA-50 into a fireing solution for the un-seen AAA to the left? Right side mounted gun + AAA to far left = Trouble or death :doh:

When the developers of the Black Shark were drawing up the prints for the KA-50 what was the logic in setting the gun on one side of the KA-50? We all know how fluid and unpredictable combat is so why is the the gun limited to only a specific side of the KA-50? Example: Your in your KA-50 shooting a target some where off to the right of you. Then all of the sudden AAA comes up from the ground 1/2 mile to your left side. If the KA-50s gun could move all the way to the left you could target the AAA site, but instead you need to take time to move the KA-50 into a fireing soulution, which might be too late. Im at a loss with the logic and placement of the KA-50s' foward gun placement. :helpsmilie:
