Problem with "Takeoff and Handling" in DCS World
Rubberduck replied to the_korben's topic in Mission and Campaigns
try http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/250461/ see if this helps, there was a heading trigger issue, which hasn't been patched as yet I believe. HTH -
Yep exactly what I thought. See Winz's answer below when you need to do it :) Thank you Winz, very helpful, was thinking of all sorts of ways of doing it last night, all far toooo complicated, simplify, simplify lol  Rep coming your way :)

Was trying, and mostly failing to get the MFD's on my second screen to be the correct size to mount my Cougars onto the screen. I am fine with the positioning and changing the LUA, my LUA is working fine outputting the MFD's to my second screen, it's just the sizing for the cougars I am now having trouble with. I have made up a bracket to fix the cougars but I can't seem to get the image to match. It's either too big or small and the button labels don't quite match. Am I right in thinking that the number of pixels needed to fill the cougar is dependant on screen resolution? Therefore there is no definitive answer as it will vary from screen to screen? I have seen various posts, quoting number as diverse as 520x520 down to 480x480. Would I be right in thinking that the best way to map them and change the figures in my LUA would be to use PixelWindowApp ? Thanks in advance

Nice to see Matz, grats bro :) I too am getting the landing bit sorted, doesn't help at all that I get a 10 sec stutter as I cross the threshold, but I won't be able to blame that when I get my new rig hopefully :) -

I will be fitting my DVD drive from my existing system, but again, thanks for the heads up. Thanks Outlawal2, not being familiar with SLI, can you disable one of the cards on the fly, if needed? Edited*** -
Just ordered my new rig, should be here in the new year. Idea was to future proof it a little, and optimise it for running DCS. Think my original system did do very well, running 2 screens, outputting the MFD's to the second screen, on a 550Ti Nvidia card, and getting around 14 fps on the ground and 20-25 in the air. It only dropped a few with the TGP on. Setting were on medium tho :) anyway here are the specs of the new rig, bit of a beast if I do say so myself, comments welcome :) Case PCS MAELSTROM T900 BLACK GAMING CASE Processor (CPU) Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3820 (3.6GHz) 10MB Cache Motherboard ASUS® SABERTOOTH X79: SOCKET 2011, R.O.G Memory (RAM) 16GB KINGSTON HYPERX BEAST QUAD-DDR3 2400MHz X.M.P (4 x 4GB KIT) Graphics Card 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660 Ti - 2 DVI, HDMI, DP - 3D Vision Ready 2nd Graphics Card 2GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660 Ti - 2 DVI, HDMI, DP - 3D Vision Ready Memory - 1st Hard Disk 120GB INTEL® 330 SERIES SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 500MB/sR | 450MB/sW) 2nd Hard Disk 2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD2002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm) 1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive 4x BLU-RAY ROM DRIVE, 16x DVD ROM (£26) Memory Card Reader INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (XD, MS, CF, SD, etc) + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT Power Supply CORSAIR 750W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX750 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE Processor Cooling INTEL CERTIFIED LIQUID CPU COOLER FOR SOCKET LG2011 Fan Controller AeroCool Touch 2000 LCD Touch Screen 4 Fan Controller + 2 x Front USB Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ Xtreme Audio can't wait :)

Another noobie with another stupid question
Rubberduck replied to Mac10's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Agree love it, some people have said on here it took a while to get used too, because of the stiffness of buttons and responsivness of the stick, but i have found pretty easy transition from X52 to WH. HTH -

Rubberduck replied to Mac10's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Mine arrived next day even though I just put it on 3-5days free delivery. Really good service but no one was in to sign for it:doh: so I had to go pick it up. If it had come when they said on the Friday it wouldn't have been a problem as someone would have been there to sign for it :megalol: -
Yep think you need to clear the modifier too, plus add the pinkie paddle as a modifier, so the game knows the button, you can then assign it to what you want, as I have done.

OK, Just for the record, learning to fly...
Rubberduck replied to MatzWarhog's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I've practiced quite a bit, got a lot better, and I switch on NWS when at 50 when landing and 55 like you when taking off. -
I cleared all of the controls assigned to these 2 functions and then started afresh, this seemed to work. HTH
