It is somewhat frustrating seeing all these other engines come out. Engines that very well may have not even been a thought when EDGE was first announced. Yet here they are Cryengine and all the others and we have not even seen a proof of concept. Makes me think how everybody thought the Nazi's where close to an Atomic weapon and when the war was over all they found was a building with a hole in the ground.

This is not whether Ed has invested or not this is a look at things to come. Maybe some other flight simm will be using this engine and that would be something worth looking at. As far as Edge goes where is Their proof of concept. Have not seen any EDGE concept vids and that is supposedly something that has been in the works for YEARS.

By that non helpful terse answer you are assuming I live where? I LIVE IN TH UNITED STATES. Maybe you could of asked me first where I lived as far as country goes before delivering your terse remark as if I am some kinda idiot who is not VERY aware the Download is only available in the US.

Has anybody tried to purchase LOMAC from Ubi soft? I want to purchase FC3 and of course have to jump through the UBI soft hurdle. For some strange reason I cannot purchase it for digital D/L off their site. After I have filled in all the order blanks, credit card info and such it tells me I have invalid info but NOTHING is high-lited to explain What is invalid. Everything is filled in properly I started on Opera then tried on Chrome and got the same message. If any body did the LOMAC digital download hurdle from UBI soft can I please get some advice?

I have the steam version of 1.1.1, I also have the 1.22 dcs world ver. In the scheme of things is 1.1.1 more stable in multiplayer then 1.22 and if so where are those 1.1.1 players? I would like to fly some missions online missions without CTD or at least less CTD.

While flying on line last nite I noticed that I can no longer see mine or anybody elses taxi lights landing lights or anti collision lights but they can see mine. When I go into F2 look I see that my lights are on but they do not light up the terrain in front of me and I cannot see the anti collision lights reflect from the tarmac like I used to. I posted 2 screen shots the 1st is looking at the nose you can see the lights are on the 2nd is taken from above looking down. The tarmac is not lit up in front even though taxi lights are on. This only happens when I am online..but when I create my own server on-line everything works as it should. This just started in the last few days. the only mod I am running is ZZZspace sound mod. Any help much appreciated.:huh:

Hey HeadSpace I got with our T/S admin made the adjustments to spam/flood and so far all is well. However our FC3 guys are all sad faced because they cannot use TARS as of yet. Thanks for the cool program. Will there ever be some kinda CA support at least for a human JTAC to talk with pilots through TARS?

I would like to be apart of this training. Will the practice be held on a later to be disclosed server?

Thanks, I only went to the T/S because I could not find any help any where else on hammering out issues with TARS. I will speak to our T/S admin and see about disabling spam protection.

I and my mates have had lots of issues with TARS not working properly. Example whenever I log into game via T/S I can hear other people but I cannot switch channels to speak to them. Also I get a repeating error message from T/S, and a message about flood spam control. Yes I have the latest ver of T/S yes I have the latest ver of TARS and DCS 1.2.2. I searched for help via the T/S forums and found a thread about spam/flood settings and it said the setting should be about 150..ish? I checked and our T/S is set to 150. Other guys are having the same problem. Any help or advice much appreciated. I am not a computer geek per say so if it could be explained in non-Star Trek fashion GREATLEY appreciated.

I can walk around after ejecting and landing, however I have to use my joystick for manuever. It does not seem to work with the mouse and keyboard. ver 1.2.2

I was flying Operation Bactria last nite and dropped a couple of Jdams on insurgents firing from wooded hills down onto a FOB. After the explosion there was a plume of smoke that QUICKLY dissapated, It did not seem very realistic because there is no effect for continual (maybe not continual but longer then what is standard in game) smoke from the impact (burning or smoldering tree's, brush,grass, lingering dust,uniforms...bodies). My question is there a mod for that? I know there is one for vehicles (smoke and flame mod) but what about for impacts on terrain particularly woods or brush? I have NO experience in modding, however I think it would add to the immersion if somebody could create that or point me where to find it. :music_whistling:

Hmm, I have been having the same problem my HOF is at 500 and I have to drop 2 at a time or make 2 seperate passes to kill 1 T-80. I shall try this 300 HOF next time. THX!

0/ I am also new just picked this sim up on Black Friday I am having problems with the training programs. I follow all the commands from instructor then I get left hanging. Is there going to be a fix for this?
