  1. I have the same problem. Jester uses RWS, even when bandits are on the deck. After switching to TWS on the RIO seat Jester switches back to RWS when back on pilot seat.
  2. Hello Hollywood, I still have no joy with AIRIO. After it worked before, after last update Jester and Groung crew also do not respond to voice orders. In the other modules it seems to work. Any idea?
  3. AIRIO is not working for me any more after the DCS update today. Anyone experienced the same?
  4. Reducing all textures in DCS only to make the F-14 smoothly playable is neither an option nor a solution.
  5. You did a really good job on the Cat! But not everyone has DCS running on high end machine. It would be nice to have the option to use textures with lower resolution without interfering with the multiplayer IC checks. For me it is more important enjoyable to have a good running Cat without lags and stutters than having a permanent eye candy. I think I am not alone with this wish. Thanks you and keep on with your great work!
  6. Have you ever sat in a real fighter aircraft? Around a light spot (sun for example) you can see the structure of the "glass". It looks like small scratches or cracks. It looks very similarto what HB (and many others) did.
  7. What is superior on that airframe?
  8. I just want to show and share with you this simple solution how to make a UFC for the Hornet (or any other module). It's a customized programmable keyboard from Koolertron, that can be found on Amazon. Just need a little color and printed stickers to customize. It works as intended without issues.
  9. What does "freely enough" mean? If steering button is not pressed, the nose wheel will not move left or right until a force is put on it. Through the straight design (unlike the Su-27 or MiG-29) of the nose wheel strut, there is nearly no force effecting it, even if the plane is in a turn. So the plane keeps to turn.
  10. So, every multiplayer host SHOULD add the bullseye coordinates for all participating flights in the briefing.
  11. The bullseye waypoint SHOULD have nothing to do with the flight plan! But it seems to be like that in Wags video. I hope there will be an option the enter waypoints manually in later updates. Or the bullseye from the mission editor should be default. This should be given for other planes as well, otherwise it is not possible to fly in packages with other type of planes (M2K, A-10, F-14 etc.). All MUST have the same bullseye coordinates in the same scenario.
  12. I think with the PFM modification ED tries to make Cobra-like maneuvers possible with the 29, but messes up the behavior in the normal flight envelope.
  13. Correct. Don't know what Vitormouraa was reading.
  14. The only unusual thing I see here is the thing with the intake duct. The rest is common for most other planes.
  15. I agree! The 29 still has a strange behavior: positive pitch authority is pretty high. That also leads to the early rotation at low speeds (for rotation speed CG in relation to gear position is important, too: Your plane rotates at 0 airspeed if its behind the main landing gear :smilewink:). In opposition there is very low negative pitch authority. To fly inverted straight and level you need to trim forward a lot. Stick pressure alone is not sufficient. At high speed over 1000 km/h, even full forward trim doesn't keep the nose from pitching up.Not sure this behavior is correct for the 29. And rudder authority is much too high as well. The birds butt shakes hell with only little input (nearly no rudder movement can be seen in external view). Oddly this effect is getting stronger with higher speed, where aerodynamic stability should usually rise more than aerodynamic control surface authority. Some things should be checked and reviewed: - planes center of gravity (CG) - planes center of pressure (CP) ando it's movement in relation to airspeed - planes general stability for the yaw and pitch axes
  16. That did it! Thanks guys! The files in the views folder were pretty old, from 2014. Don't know why they aren't updated in the update progress automatically, especially with the release of 2.5... ? Meet you in the sky. Watch your six!
  17. Thanks for the tries to help me, but has nobody a working idea about how to eliminate this stupid line? It makes the Mig-29 unenjoyable for me!
  18. I uninstalled FC3 and reinstalled it again, but still no joy
  19. My folders are ...saved games\dcs.openalpha\ (not used anymore) and ...\saved games\dcs\ In both there is only a ...\mods\tech folder from Tacview
  20. I repaired now. No difference. FC3 settings all on default.
  21. No mods. Have'nt tried a repair yet. I hoped to find another simple solution first.
  22. What is this line? I had this already before the new FM. I'm a FC3 owner. I can't get rid of it.:helpsmilie: Screen_181017_181254.png
  23. Sadly, it's not represented. Also Naghshe Rostam is not. :( It's the same you would make a Egypt map with Cairo but without modelling the Pyramids and the Sphinx... or Dubai without the Burj Khalifa, where the historical meaning of Persepolis is greater by far! Also the valleys are much more green (ok - might depend on the season). And the lake near Shiraz has a color that varies between orange and pink, because of it's high salt content.
  24. Would be nice to see some important points of interest in the city like Darvaze Ghoran the tombs of Hafez and Saadi. And in the vicinity historical places like Persepolis, Naghshe Rostam and Pasargadae.
  25. Oh yes, you are right. But I wonder, because Iran never really employed those Su-25. There only a few defected Frogfoots from Iraq in Iran. I saw them with my own eyes at the airport in Shiraz, several years ago. But they were never added to the active IRIAF fleet. As far as I know, they were given back to Iraq three or four years ago.
