miracle gel! My TWCS is years old, and spent a lot of time in storage. My application was novice, i was so excited to squirt the stuff in there, i just quickly wiped the rails down with a paper towel then jammed the gel, trying to work it around to the bottom with the tip of the tube.. was gonna take it apart and take the rails out and do a better job evenly lubing them out, until i openned it up and thought "I'll try it the quick way, and if it doesn't work out i can take it apart and wash it down and do a better job the 2nd time." this throttle feels better than it did when it was brand new!

Been starting off with the jf-17 thunder. I've gone through a lot of training missions and have started doing some single-player single-missions. I'm looking for a place to find an experienced pilot to take me under their wing and get me up to speed with the systems in a PVE environment in preparation for some PVP in the future. Still focusing a lot on Air-to-Ground stuff right now, as these missions usually give me time to set myself up for succes en-route to targets. Is there a discord or something that's known for helping out newer players? I'm a pretty fast learner, and i'm getting a pretty solid grasp on most of the procedures already, but going into some missions I'm struggling to decide which taregets to drop bombs on and which targets to use missiles on, etc. To be honest, i haven't even looked into multi-player yet, so just trying to figure out how/where to transition over from single-player missions. thanks in advance for any guidance! ~phillabust :joystick:

For those of us who forget to save tracks after a particularly epic mission. an option to have tracks save automatically would be great. that way people like me could just go back and delet the tracks they don't want. or at-least have a temp recording of the last couple tracks? :lookaround: maybe it's just me and i should just hit the damn save track button..

this mod is failing to authorize for me.. anyone else having this problem? Edit: got it working, pretty sure it was user error.

the squares highlighting buttons and knobs in the cockpit during the training modules are HUGE in VR, making it difficult to see which button/knob it's trying to highlight, because it usually surrounds at-least half-a-dozen buttons. not to mention the mess it makes when highlighting 4 or 5 buttons/knobs all right next to each-other. Is there a fix for this? after completing the task it's highlighting the square zooms out, during which it gets a lot smaller, and at about 15-20% of it's original size it's the perfect size. I have the text size turned up to 1.25 for better visibility of text messages, but the gui scale is at 1 (lowest setting)

I gotta get this going. Can it be done with any joystick axis using the T.A.R.G.E.T. GUI? I have a vkb stick, but i have a t16000m throttle which is where i'm trying to bind my zoom axis anyways. edit: ok, can i just make a new config and replace the whole "mapAxis (...) and SetSCurve(...)" with the script KeyAxis(&Throttle, THR_FC, 0, AXMAP2(LIST(0,37,42,77,82,100), VR_Zoom_Magnifier, 0, VR_Zoom, 0, PULSE+F1_Cockpit_view)); ? or should i leave the curve one? or can i just paste it at the bottom of the script somewhere? also, how did you bind the dx119 and dx120 to the vr zoom and vr spyglass functions in dcs? sorry for being such a noob, I've never really messed with the TARGET software before. Any help is appreciated! o7
