65° on GPU and 40° on CPU doesnt seem to me like Thermal throttling. In my next step going to delete saved games folder. But even when i installed 1.5.5 which i havent installed before?(when i uninstalled 1.5.5 vanilla i deleted all files of it and went to install 1.5.5 beta so it should technically use another saved games folder should it?) Oh and you can see 8GB ram is in use at the point of crash. Thanks for the replies so far -
Hi, I havent flown since months due to time issues. Updated everything and then the Problem starts it crashes always after some Minutes beeing in the game. I have completly reinstalled DCS 1.5.5 beta (with vanilla 1.5.5 the same), installed the GPU driver severel times again. Disabled all Overlay Softwares such as Shadowplay or Riverstatistics PC Specs: Palit GTX 1080 Intel i5 6600k @4.5 Ghz 16 GB DDR4 2400 HyperX MSI Z170 gaming pro Windows 10 Pro Build 14393.rs1_release.161110-2025 Saitek X65F + Saitek pro Flight Rudder Pedals with Smart software. TrackIR Mods installed: Mig-21 english Cockpit M2000 english Cockpit both with JSGME DCS Logs attached Thanks for any help. Logs.zip

If you have switches, you still have the problem, it fits only for 1 plane. Thats why i want a multifunctional solution. And i need to work with that sensor eitherway so why not connect both things?

Hello fellow Pilots, I'm a media computer science student and this year i have to program a piece of software with an interactive sensor. So here comes my idea, the problems i have, and the help i need. Idea: I really get annoyed when i have to lift my hands off my HOTAS and go to the mouse push the mouse of ther button, hold my headstill to click with the mouse on it. Why not track down the Hands and give the User 2 possible modes for the user to just virtually click the buttons. 1 TrackIR Mode & 1 VR Mode. In TrackIR Mode, you point on the position on the screen where the button is you want to press with a gesture. In VR Mode you can just put your hands to the point where the button is. If you simulate a cockpit you could even give FC3 "clickable" cockpits Why: Because building your own cockpit is super expensive and that fits most likely only for 1 Plane. And as soon VR will impact the market we will have that huge Problem eitherway. Problems: How can my Software communicate with DCS to press the Button, or How to get Position of the button inside the Cockpit and for the TrackIR version on the Screen? How does Helios interogate with the buttons? My stage: I haven't programmed any DCS mod so far, but i have done many Unity, C#, Java, Js, Php, Matlab things before. So im kind of a dummy in modding DCS, but yet i know how to code. Im very pleased for every idea or any help you could give me to create that piece of software, since i wont be the only person annoyed by the mouse using. Cheers GottHold

Hey Folks! I want to place a target with different zones like a dart. Once you finished the run, i want that it gives me the statistics how good/precise my gunrun was. Is there a way to realize it? My thought so far: -is there a way to read out the bullet impacts inside a zone, is there a way to calculate the amout of impacts? Or do you have any other ideas how to realise that? Got another "solution" Still it got 2 downsides. If you set the game height smaller then your actual screen is, you get the windowed mode back. So you could just move the Screen to the right. So far so good. The ingame GUI thinks it is still on your middle screen perfectly centered and due to the windows bar you cant drag up the game window so far that it perfectly matches. So if you line it the best up you have in the Y-Axis a shift of 10px which can be very annoying for very small buttons, but for the big ones it works okay. The 2.nd downside is the windowsbar. Not nice but i would get with that if the gui would be perfectly centered. And since i do this for MFCD multiporpose on my right screen i cant set the GUI right. If i open the GUI inb the method it deletes the MFCD viewport. Eagle Dynamics PLEEAASE fix. Not sure if i will die because i get an apoplexy cause i cant handle in my everyday buisness my left screen beein ontop of the middle one, or because the GUI is not conterable. Cheers your gotthold

Hey guys I am working and learning after effects and some 3d stuff. But mostly there are not so many good 3d models about planes even the ground units in dcs have more polys then the free ones :>. Is there a possibility to extract those models for 3d work? Greetings

Hello guys :) I have the UH-1 Huey. As i noticed in training you can switch the seats and the other seats get controlled by a bot. Is there a possibility that a friend of mine take the left pilot seat for aiming while i fly him around? that would be so much more awesome :>

As far as i tested it. It Part of group or all of group in zone is just not working for planes that the player can fly (clients). For other helicopters etc it works fine that way.

I changed every PArt of group in zone into unit inside zone. Thanks that works well but i got another issue now. If i finished a task and if i re-enter the Ingres zone it doesn't give me a new task The Trigger: Switched Trigger Conditions: Unit inside Zone(F-15C #1, Enter Ingres Zone) Flag is False 1 Flag is less (9999, 5) Actions: Flag on 1 Flag set Random Value (2,1,18 ) From here every task Checks whether 1 is true and the Value of the flag 2. After the task is done it switches Flag 1 to off. and if successfull additionally Flag increase(9999, 1) But if i re-enter after done task the ingres point, it doesn't give me a new task.

If a flag is true doesn't have it the Value of 1 actually? and by default 0. Or is it also bugged?

Sorry i'm new to this so i didn't expected that :P Mb i need to work on something on that mission etc. but i will publish it later in forums when it hopefully works fine :D
