Dassault won't let them do the -5. It's still very used in our army as an A2A interceptor on our country and I don't think we'll see it anytime soon in DCS. But maybe I'm just wrong and I would love to :). I don't even mention the Rafale.

These updates are amazing. Your progression is really fast in regards of coding. Zeus, are you also in charge of the AFM ? If not, can you tell us if it's going forward ? Again, great job and thank you for keeping us informed ;).

This module will be just like the A-10C. Clickable cockpit, AFM etc ... As far as I know, all functionalities will be implemented.

I might me wrong here but I think slats can't be controlled by the pilot IRL. This is automatic control via an onboard computer. If we can't do it in real life you can't do it in DCS :). Please someone correct me if I'm wrong

I think Wags talked about improvments fort ATCs in an old update. Maybe it will come along with EDGE. For me it's the repeated "hold position" when you're taxiing with a friend. This should have been fixed as it's a realism breaker. But we had big updates lately, we should be patient. DCS has a great future

Wow, glad I took a day off :). Downloaded it at 5Mo/s. Already fly it a couple times. It's a new plane. I crashed on my first landing ... What a shame :). But it feels really good. There is new engine sounds too, unless It's just me. Great update. Thanks ED

Except that's not RAZBAM work. Metal2Mesh are doing this plane for FSX not RAZBAM. Even if RAZBAM are still develloping on FSX i believe that there is at least one dev on the M2000 I believe that they are (Razbam) actually working on the M2KC AFM while M2M is doing the 3d/texture work. But I might be wrong here :)

Remember that the 2000/C is an A-A fighter and was not created for A-G missions. Pics above are from a 2000/D

It can be because you like the plane or because you want to learn other systems. I will buy all planes that are coming to DCS because even if there will be multiple A-A aircraft, they don't act the same at all. No need for SEAD weapons to make it valuable in DCS.

2D textures and 3d model will pretty much be the same between FSX and DCS. So it's not a big deal if we see FSX screenshots here.

Print it and give it as a color book for kids :).

So bad I'm too young to stop working now and enjoy DCS next fighters :).

Great to see that the 2KC has its own sub forum :). Finally an official announcement. I did buy the FSX version even if I'm not flying on FSX just to see what's coming to DCS. And I can tell you that they already have done a beautiful work for an open ALPHA. I just can't wait to see it in my DCS collection :) Regards, Max
