Is it possible to hide the F-15c beta label? I already own FC3 so surely it shouldn't be there for me........unless it's for a different F-15c?

Thanks for the vid USARStarkey, been flying the P-51 for about 6 months on and off now so getting better. :smartass: The manin thing that drives me nuts is the 190's damage model. Sceptre the key thing is to make sure you have both Radiators full open to manage engine temps at higher RPM, it's also nworth noting that the faster you are the better the cooling the engine receives. As USARStarkey demonstrates in his video it's more about manifold control in the dive than just leaving it in 1 position during a fight.

I was under the impression that backers pledging less that $20 only got the free flyable and access to the forums and updates like Bounder mentioned above. I've read through all of the project updates and nowhere does it say $1 backers would get 3 aircraft.

To save confusion, for now I'd select 1 of each aircraft in the flyables section, thats what i've done, plus any additional P-51 or Dora keys i wanted under the rewards section. Luthier's responce is a little confusing for me over this tbh. Obviously i don't want 2 copies of the Dora or P-51 for DCS WWII but it doesn't make sense to pick 2 of any flyable for DCS WWII, as they are my only other options.

Hi all, slightly confused here when choosing rewards. Is the DCS World P51 and DCS World FW 190 the same as the DCS WWII versions? Meaning if i own the P-51 and FW-190 in DCS World can i fly them in DCS WWII or do i need to select them as flyables in the rewards menu. :helpsmilie:

As great as the updates are something is still annoying the hell out of me. Still no website update for project backers!!!!!!! Sorry to sound like a broken record but, seriously guys, give us an update on the rewards procedure. I pledged $150 back at kickstarter, and have yet to hear anything, also know people that have still not received their P-51 keys even after messaging Illya (myself being 1 of them). Personally i'm not interested in the P-51 as i already own it, however with the FW190 almost here this needs sorting.

Hi Folks I'm currently playing through the A10A campaign but having great difficulty in mission 1. Every time i attempt to lock onto the tanks it slews to a building, when i try to slew it back to the tank it refuses to lock, jumping back to the building it locked originally. I've tried using mavericks in quick missions and can lock onto the target every time. The problem seems to be when they are near buildings. Is there a cycle target key for the maverick? Am i doing something wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

Nice update, however still no mention of the backers website, which i find a little worrying as they have supposed to have been working on it since the kickstarter ended.

I'm in the same boat as Vlerkies, not received my P-51 keys after pledging $150 on kickstarter. Personally i find it appalling that we have yet to even hear about rewards let alone get ones we are owed from when kickstarter succeeded. I'm all for keeping frustration in check however, the actual kickstarter turned into a very large mess by the end with the number of times rewards were added and changed.

Thanks Sabre, Keys received very quickly. Would i be better using the missions in the 1.2.7 beta patch due to the fixed refueling or should i stick to 1.2.6 for the basic campaign first?

Just purchased both the Basic Training and Advanced Training campaigns from you after hearing great things. I take it the mission key you send is for both campaigns?

Whenever i download a Trk file from the forums to watch, it's almost as if the game is playing a different track from what the player uploaded. The player controlled aircraft seems to shoot at thin air and maneuver as though it's following enemies, however the A.I is never in there and always seems to shoot down the Player controlled craft. Same is happening with Trk files from campaign missions. Is this a known bug?

Thankyou Flagrum, that would explain the difference in the controls monitor in the tutorial vids. I take it that I am using normal power to enter hover from standing then, and as such, should not be worried I'm using too much collective compared to the tutorial videos? I was worried it was my throttle setup, although it seems fine in all my other modules.

I'm learning to fly the Huey atm and am avidly watching training vids, however 1 thing that I have noticed is that the videos seem to be using a lot less collective than I am when transitioning from stationary to a hover. Are the video authors using curves on the throttle and Collective axis? I seem to be approaching 50%+ power before the Huey becomes light on the skids. (Seems at least doublethe power to that used in the tutorial videos) I've set all the throttle axis on my quadrant as sliders in the options and have no curves set atm. Any help is much appreciated. Current Controls: Saitek Throttle Quadrant, MS FFB2, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Is there no way with the kickstarter pledges to give us the option of picking something instead of a DCS World licence Luthier? I'm backing at the $110 level atm (plus $12 postage), however already own the P-51D, would it not be possible to swap it for a spitfire manual instead? I only backed at this level so I could get the Alpha access and the FW-190 in the same package. :huh: I was strongly considering increasing my pledge upon seeing the Paypal reward options, as being able to select what rewards I got would be great. Just reread what you wrote Luthier, and I can understand not swapping digital items for physical ones due to postage costs, however does that mean that paypal backers that pledge $120 could choose to get 4 manuals and no licence keys for DCS World?

From what I understand VincentLaw, when the project is ready an email containing activation keys will be sent to your Kickstarter registered email address.

I personally think 1 free aircraft is enough, if you provide 3, what is the point in people buying more? Yes they might buy the P-51 or the FW-190 but if they're provided with 3 aircraft as complex as these for no cost I doubt they'd pay for more. Also i'd take note of what RAZBAM-Cobra says, PayPal are known for freezing funds in crowd funded projects.

As the title says, are there any flyable tutorials? I downloaded the tutorials module but it only contains videos. The videos are great and all but kinda lacking, as i prefer to learn hands on. Many Thanks

The P-51 and UH1-Huey tutorials are top notch and very easy to follow. Does anyone have a link to some tutorials for FC3 like these? I've tried watching the videos but they're not great quality, and I've always prefered to learn the procedures by doing them in any sim. I've just brought FC3 and this seems a really poor decision to exclude flyable tutorials for new players. :huh: Does anyone have some mission link to get me started (F15 tutorials would be great). That link was a great help thanks. I guess my last question is whether FC3 is in a stable and enjoyable state to play atm, although looking at youtube vids and other forums it seems to be as near perfect as most beta releases.

Hi Folks I've recently discovered Flaming Cliffs and have dug out my LOMAC disk, however before i buy FC3 i was wondering if it included all the campaigns from previous FC releases. If it doesn't do i need to purchase FC and FC2 in order to fly those campaigns in FC3. Any help is greatly appreciated.
