  2. Server has been unable to be connected to remotely. Pman and Rock were out of town at the Duxford show and need to wait for their return to check on the status.
  3. Yep, already there, as hot starts on the ground, ready to go. I find the Tbilisi track the most fun for the helo's being a smaller track, should give it a try sometime. /Salute Shahdoh
  4. The final race of the season is almost here. Qualifying for Tbilisi is now open until July 18, 12AM GMT. All qualifying must be done on the server. You can attempt to qualify as many times as you like, but can only submit a time once. Just take a screenshot of the moment when the finish time displays or screenshot the radio report for that course and post it in this thread. I will be confirming that the times came from the server. Good luck! Shahdoh
  5. Sometimes the auto restart fails to complete. Just checked, its back up now. Thanks for the notice. /Salute Shahdoh
  6. Welcome aboard Masna, PM sent.
  7. Another note, if it was not already clear, all connecting need to have the same files. If another person on the server is in an aircraft that is not updated with the corrected description.lua, that information is sent out to the rest of the clients as the base *.lua to follow, resulting in graphic issues. Its a first one on that sets the standard of how the others are set.
  8. What I found using all sorts of custom items on P51 skins ( custom pilots, patches, even animated props) was that if there was an item in 1 description.lua, it needed to be in ALL description.lua's of aircraft of the same type, even if it was default. And in some cases for certain items at least, needed to be in the same order. I run a Mustang racing series where all sorts of custom skins are used, and we have gotten rid of all graphic anomalies by doing this. Yes, it took some work going through 29 different aircraft to make sure all entries were in each description.lua, but it paid off when everything works right and all involved see the see the aircraft as intended. See this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=140026 If any ?s, will try to explain further. /Salute Shahdoh

  10. Had a few technical glitches at the start and with the Twitch recording, but still, overall, great day of racing. Frippe is finishing the series strong with his 2nd win in a row, vaulting him into 3rd place in the points. Mick has almost completely locked up the 1st place but there is still enough points left in the final race that it he can not relax to much either. Again, congrats Frippe! Winner of the DCS: MiG-21bis provided by Hitman, in association with Lock On Files. Twitch will be re-broadcast off of the server track to get a better recording. A very technical course that will challenge each and every pilot to the extreme. You will not want to miss it! 17. Glad the settings are helping out. As far as the brakes not holding to 100% power, that was a choice I made as I am pretty sure most jets, are unable to hold a full stop at full power. I have no hard data on the matter and just used a setting that "felt right". Beautiful thing about being able to customize the controls, able to get it to "Feel right" to each individual. The biggest thing was keeping the brakes from working TOO well and causing the skidding like the default settings do. /Salute Shahdoh

  19. Registration will remain open till the very last race.
  20. Lua scripting is the only way to get to 1/100th of a second that I am aware of.
  21. I use .01 to track to 1/100th of a second on my race courses.
  22. Tremendous flying today at the Abu Dhabi race course, but none could beat Frippe's domination of the track. Coming into the race with the fastest qualifying time of a blistering 1:48.66. He followed it up with crushing times of 1:50.8 / 1:51.41 / 1:50.87 and 1:50.82 to clinch the title for the day. Congratulations Frippe! We have a couple front runners, but they dare not slow down with a large pack ready to overtake them. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ms-4RKw8vsdkIMkD2EzigL0d1Iq1AxCZ42ZoCHmu5yY/edit#gid=2 Twitch Highlight of the race can be seen here: http://www.twitch.tv/dcs_shahdoh/v/5146008 The 5th race of the season will be the Maykop 8. Mass start race of up to 12 aircraft at a time going 10 laps around a figure 8 patterned track will keep the action close and exciting. Be sure to check it out next month (21 June 2015).
