  1. I do not think it is that, mine disappeared after only a few were in the mission in just a few minutes. ATM I have a mission up and so far so good. Only a couple in there plus myself. Changes made to the mission: Reduced Client available aircraft down to 129, (VA server on 1.2 has over 250 client available a/c in the mission). Also ensured Group names and pilot names were all unique. Keeping fingers crossed. Server name: North American Free Flight
  2. As stated in OP thread title, pre-1.5 missions not loading, but, apparently, new missions are having some issues too. My prior comments were about an old mission. With that on hold, a friend and I have started rebuilding it from scratch in 1.5. We are currently having an issue with a newly created mission that starts off showing in the server list, but then within a few minutes, no longer visible. Direct IP connects still work. Mission is 91k in size and no briefing or sortie name. Its a large number of available client a/c. Though way less than I have created in older missions. Will be testing with less client a/c to see if that helps.
  3. Ok, I seen Sortie name and cleared it, still no go. B(
  4. Mission is now under 120kb, no briefing information at all, still not showing. What is the mission name area you are referring too?
  5. I have found an issue causing a crash of the client in MP. When typing a text chat, and you go to a 2nd line, if you backspace back to the 1st line, the client will crash. Repeatable and experienced it on multiple installs (different machines).
  6. Can not duplicate. Removed all text from all briefing areas, removed all images and removed all triggers. Server still does not show in the list on pre-1.5 mission. Mission does have at least 1 of every released aircraft (no-mods). Will keep trying...
  7. Unfortunately, not yet.
  8. The Virtual Aerobatics server is currently down for maintenance with the service provider and we have not been given an ETA for its return. As soon as we have more news we will post it. Shahdoh / Assistant admin -VA Server
  9. The DCS network code was never intended to handle more than 8 or so players on a server. We have found on the Virtual Aerobatic server and in my Mustang Racing series that ADSL 2048 helps minimize lags and warps that happen from missing/corrupted data packets. Seems smaller packet sizes means less error when it is sorted out at the client. In the racing series, I had as many as 15-18 pilots from Australia to Eastern Europe on the server (located in Arizona) at the same time. All were instructed to use ADSL 2048 and we had very little if any lag/warp issues. The VA server experiences much higher usage from a wider range of clients, and there is no way to force the issue, so the server sees a good amount of warps. In almost all cases where people have switched from the higher settings to ADSL 2048, they have said the lag/warp issue was at least better than it was. Give it a shot, let us know if it helps you. Good luck, Shahdoh
  10. On the Virtual Aerobatics server, we have a large variety of aircraft and unlike most combat servers, we allow external views. In testing, we have found its the external views that nearly doubles the VRAM usage. It also seems probable that there is a memory leak issue regarding the VRAM. If this is a problem for you on the VA, please eliminate or at least reduce your external view usage and see if that helps.
  11. So its the nose wheel skidding when turning. Its been a while since I have been in the F86, does the front wheel no longer caster freely when the nws is not engaged?
  12. Hmm, well, Im off to work, but if you could, please post a screenshot of your settings. Something does not seem right. Will have a look when I get home.
  13. And this is still after trying these suggested settings with reduced Y saturation?
  14. In what way? Locking up still? As far as in game response, your pedals should be no different then my Saiteks.
  15. Thats how I have it, uncheck fullscreen and run DCS at the resolution of your monitor.
  16. For me, just running windows mode, with the DCS resolution set to my primary monitor(2 monitors) resolution works just fine. No crashes from DCS and can alt tab to other applications all without a problem. No secondary application required and it looks the same as full screen, no borders etc. /shrug Nvidia graphics, currently GTX980, but was doing this with an earlier 580.
  17. Thank you Ells and all of VEAO for the great prizes. /Salute Shahdoh
  18. Something weird happened with the photobucket link, but I think its working again. Let me know if you can see it now in the original post.
  19. DCS Repair will not fix skin corruption error. If I remember right, they changed how the panels lay out for the Su27 or some such. Search around for another thread covering the same problem. You need to correct the description.lua file for the custom skins to fix the issue.
  20. Use of smoke pods is restricted on the VA server for FPS issues. As you know, the VA is a fairly high use server and we set this ruling to help out the masses. Some of the air start race aircraft come pre equipped with them and if you are able to land on the carrier, you can load them. We do have a rule that you only load a maximum of 3 on your aircraft. If found that you have more, you will be asked to remove them, failure to comply or repeated offenses will end up as a ban. Thanks for your interest in the VA server, Shahdoh - Assistant admin
  21. The Mustang racing season comes to an end with the most difficult course of the season. To complicate matters, they had to deal with 20 mph winds. Still, there was a champion to be crowned so racing went on. Race day was not that pretty but qualifying provided a clue to who had the course figured out. Mick led the pack with a blistering qualifying time of 2:11.57 and ended up working his way to the end of the bracket, earning his first win of the season. This won him the Bf-109 provided by Hitman, in association with LockOnFiles, but more importantly, locked him into the number 1 position for the championship! Congrats Mick, flying Strega, on winning the 2015 Mustang Racing Series earning you a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS provided by VEAO Simulations! 2nd place in the series goes to Frippe, flying Ferrari, earning him a TrackIR5 Pro also provided by VEAO Simulations. 3rd place for the series - Phantom, flying Joedebelle, wins a key for the UH-1h Huey provided by an anonymous donor.
