i ran the "dcs updater utility" that the thing i used that also helped to get the 2 versions on my PC. selected the openbeta and repair, for some reason, a bunch of files that are not vanilla to the open beta caused the issue. 1. repair 2. backup 3. lauch= fixed.

all the old things that i have don't work anymore on the open beta.

i have the same isseu with tha f86 so i guess its my openbeta install that is doing wierd

i have two dcs versions on my pc. the stable version and the open beta version, both are the 2.5. on the stable version the su27 works but on the open beta version, any mission, action or training... opens up with the map and not in the cockpit, not able to enter the cockpit and the training or mission is then controlled by ai. this is with the su27 and f15, so i guess its on the complete flaming cliffs 3 range.

i want to do a mission and jtac gives coordinates GG xxx.xxx. flying in circles, give the finger sign, sorry mate the harrier has not the option to find your position, see you in next life... learning everything about it, even learning its useless in missions so, NEXT......

M13 FULL. Sensors and target designation Sensor Select forward = nothing when reading set first to flir.... flir safe ins, tdc action according to the chief i must be able to move the diamond or box in the hud. as this is a learning mission with things that don't work, hours and hours until i ran out of fuel and still not able to slew it in ins.

less bright helps, but I just turn the map background of when it bugs me, so np. it's the awls that bug me now, haven't done one ils landing yet because it's not working yet.

is it correct that brightness and contrast is not working yet on the left and right mfcd? i have a hard time seeing the green text and info over the map, like the map is too bright and the green text and symbols are light green and thin. i would like the map less bright and the text and symbols dark green and fatter font and bright so there is more contrast. is there a way in the cockpit to have this set the way i want? ps, ah the brightness is working.. on the text and font , oops

the open beta, login in and authorization take very long like minutes... the stable version there is a 'failed to get authorization data. error code is 504'. need fix

yes, i asked that as a feature request. to be able to map actions to button release. but not many votes to it while this topic gets bigger. i don't know if it is still possible with the saved games folder file, the code is different. if you find the needle in the haystack then you will read that you need to go the main game folder.
