I have found a 680 second hand. Priced at 200 pounds instead of 300 pounds for the 770. So a small difference between cards but many money saved.. Money is a small issue. I just have to save a bit more.. Problem is that my power is only 500w. So i need a new one. But i might have another 450w around. If i use that one to only supply the new gpu, could that work? Another factor is that if i buy the 680 i can easily afford a second hand i7 2600k or 2700k...

Would be nice with someone using the stock clock. :-)

Whats your CPU clock?

So i did a trakk test and checked the load on CPU. All 4 cores where active and was between 7 to 15 percent. Had some peaks on 20 on 1 of them. When I alt-tabbed all 4 went up to 50. The gpu on the other hand was close to 100 percent. I had about 20 fps on average. Next thing is to test sli.

I have access to another 560 ti. I can trie sli. I might get an idea there if a new gpu will help?

Im sorry, i dont understand, how can this simulate a gpu upgrade? :-)

My friends that i fly with have newer cpus, but they are practicly all the same. The big difference tho is that they have better gpu, 660ti, 670 and titan. They all run on max settings. I dont. I have 16gb ram and dcs on ssd aswell.

Those CPU percent facts was interesting.. My load is around 13 percent. Gawd, this is a tough one.. Need to do some more load checks.

I dont have the K modell. What i know is that the gpu load is much higher then the CPU load in dcs.

My 560 ti is a 1gb card running @ 900 mhz and 1 screen. Anyone know any eta on Edge? A huge E would do. :) @Esac: Would be awesome if you could give me some feedback. Could you also do some digging? Compare both cards with the settings you use today and with settings on high? :)

Hi Have you upgraded from 560 ti to something else? If so. To what? And did you get an improvement? I have a i7 2600, but suspect that the gpu is my bottleneck.. Looking to upgrade, but not sure to what.

I use winrar, and I have no such problems. really recommend it. When I edit the .lua it gets repacked as .miz
