Don't know if you were around then but........ Guess what? SimWare got the release date for Flaming Cliffs wrong by 6 months or so........... so.............. If SimWare ever gave a release date again then why believe them, I won't. As was stated SimWare has changed the release date 3 times so far. If SimWare said that X-mas was on March 12 would you believe them? ;) My outlook on BlackShark...... It's done when it's done and leave them alone to work away......... I'd rather that they release something with a reasonable amount of bugs that doesn’t impair game play (lets face it - Nothing gets released without bugs) than something resembling 1.0 LOMAC. Whenever 1C thinks they have had enough time then they will be the ones pressurising them to release it and I think that ED will listen to the people who payed for it that a few forum members crying for their new toy. :baby: :smilewink:

I'm not. :) It's actually quite amusing to watch him rant on HL. :D One example, he moaned about the RAF server having EWR datalink for the ruskie planes cause he was shot down twice with EWR-EOS-27ET combo, but not once did he turn his radar on to check for bandits in the area. :lol: Ranting about the way the F-15 radar fails is good enough (its failings are well known by now) but pointless when you dont even use it at all. Anyways enought of that. :) It is now being shown that the delay in release is well warranted, especially for people who have no interest in the helo itself but fly fighters through (possibly IIRC) new and improved missiles (AIM-120C) and now hopefully WAFM for SAM's and AAm's. No need for these type of threads trying to pressurize ED to release BS cause the producers (1C IIRC) will apply the pressure when they believe enough time was given to make it. I say let them work at it until then, If we get updates in their work then all well and good but at the end of the day we will see it all WHEN (not if) BS is finally released.

Yep, the majority of these incidents are due to "info traffic" problems. What doesnt help is when people like Cool T pick up on a new phrase like "Screenshot cheat" cause some sims like IL2 use it and vola everyone can be accused of it. Nothing to do with him spamming 8 missiles at once at one target and this target trying to evade this cloud of slammers that lockon needs to caculate positions and preformance for. We were having problems like this for about 2 years before this was screamed at people. On private sessions I used to sit on the apron and when a mate few over me I would hit the flare button like mad to lag him for buzzing me. Well just imagine that in this example you have launched at him and he is quite rightfully poping chaff and flares to spoof the missile. Well this is just going to lag the server, especially when you have a lot of people on it doing the same thing (i.e 50% firing and 50% poping chaff/flares). I've seen stable servers like the 504th with its 30+ mbps connection (IIRC) lag out when there is enough people on it doing this. I'd say 99% of the time is isnt people cheating on purpose but just traffic probs. It's time the McCarthy witchhunts stopped.

IIRC Kenan made this type of poll during the months leading up to the FC release. ;) That was sort of rushed out as well and we needed LOD/Stutter quick fixes for it. Leave them to finish it to the best of their ability.... while 1C lets them have time. lol BTW I thought Kenan/Breadfanovich was a Flanker head anyways ;)
