Hi and thanks for a great campaign, but I'm having trouble with mission 5 (the one where you should drop some JSOW's). I manage to launch the JSOW's and I track them with the F6 view, I can see them hit... but then nothing. I have tried both PP and TOO modes. Have tried several times now, but seems like the missiles are just duds!? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I would gladly pay for Deployment and Oil war campaigns for BS3… if all missions worked.

Hm you ended up with two installs? I need to check now. Controls for BS3 I had to set up again. Perhaps you could copy profile from BS2 to 3, but I just configured controls again.

No worries. I don’t think the storage requirements is much higher. I recently upgraded to play BS3 and didn’t see much difference. Merry christmas.

It is the same game, you don't need two versions. You can convert Stable to Open Beta, check the link I sent you. Only difference is Open Beta is never version.

We do know that. But stock campaigns for BS2 (Deployment at least) does have bugs that has not been fixed, which creates unecessary frustration for new users. Fixing these should be a priority, and I do hope you agree with that? When fixed, porting these campaigns to BS3 shouldn't be to hard either. Again I don't mind downloading from User Files, but it is not very user friendly. Many people play single player only, and for these people having workable campaigns is essentail for enjoying the product.

That was my point, thanks. Not to say I do not appreciate the work put in by users to fix these campaigns, because I do. But stock campaigns should just work without any hassle.

Yes please, it would be great if the old campaigns could be made available for BS3. Also please fix the original campaigns: Deployment, Georgan Oil War. Over time as DCS world has evolved, errors has accumulated in some of the campaign missions. Just check the Campaign section here on the forums for details. It is a shame that these old campaigns are no longer beeing maintained as they are quite good. Also these old campaigns if they are not working will cause uneccessary frustration for new pilots.

Are you on Stable or Open Beta? Black Shark 3 requires Open Beta.
