What are some things I can do/try out, or armament that I can add to show us some of the new goodies on the Su-27? I only got to fly for 5 min last night and I have the whole afternoon to rip it up. :thumbup:

OK thanks for the help.....Got it installed and went for a test flight in the BETA SU27. Let me say it's a huge improvement over the original that's for sure. I'm not sure if this is a bug... or just the flight model. She seems to be in a constant nose up pull... through almost every flight range except very low speed. I have to fly her with the stick pushed forward. I tried trim down "Via keyboard" that didn't work. Trim reset also did nothing. This occurred both when I created a solo flight in mission editor and when I did the training mission flying the gates and under the bridges. If I just throttle up and let the stick go...she will pretty much do a loop. Are any other testers experiencing this? Using the MS force feedback 2.

How do i actually get in to the open beta? I have FC3.... step by step if you could.

Can we expect an influx of players on the 15th with the release of the Flanker?

The ASUS Strix GTX970 4GB was my choice....backordered though. Also I would buy now rather then later....its better to have a good card when edge comes out, just incase EDGE is buggy at first. More horsepower.

Inte cpu..... asus MB.... Nvidea graphics card. Thats a good start.

What's described below.. are only a few parts that were introduced..along with some old ones...I still have on the way, 16GB of Kingston 2400mhz ram, and the ASUS strix GTX970 4GB along with track IR5 It's not just a video card that carry's the weight of DCS.... Using MSI afterburner and seeing that i'm using almost all of my 1GB of Vram... i'm getting away with murder here. CPU and motherboard upgrades alone can have a huge impact on DCS..... from just upgrading those two components...it is almost night and day... good frame rates....Feels like I upgraded my video card.. for real. Old system... AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor 3.2Ghz, Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H Motherboard, 16GB PC1333 DDR3 RAM, AMD Radeon HD6800 1GB GDDR5, MS Force Feedback 2 Joystick. Add the new CPU .....Intel Core i5-4690K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5GHz and Motherboard ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO (Intel LGA 1150) Brought this video card back from the dead.... substantial frame rate increase..... and noticeable graphical enhancements.... From what I can tell over the last week... the CPU.... does do most of the heavy lifting. Start with the CPU and mainboard if your gear is more than 3 years old.

The sound of the 18 during the last seconds is authentic... I live on an Air Force base... pretty awesome attention to detail.

I carried out an upgrade last week. I'm still running the old card until the ASUS STRIX GTX970 4GB shows up. THanks for the tip on Shadow play. Hopefully it's all sorted out in a future patch.

Yes you were flying with me. Since this upgrade....multiplayer is playable for me. I added you on teamspeak. I can NOT wait to get track IR 5. I placed my order last night. I agree with your statement on AMD as well. I will never skimp on PC parts again. For something that I enjoy so much it's best to have it running at full steam.

I have not played my origional english downloadable version of black shark since 2010........ there is no longer an option to download black shark 1, only black shark 2. Will my original black shark serial key work with black shark 2?

DCS is amazing. What a sim..... They really got their S^$T together.

It says when trying to install FC3, that I need the newest version to work with the latest release of DCS world. Where can i find this latest version of FC3? Anyone? The version on the website is the older version.

Well said Bart. Im going to keep playing and waiting patiently for things to unfold. I'm running a 3 year old PC with a modest 1gb vid card......and no track IR. The more track IR video I watch the more I feel im missing out on something great. I had no idea there was a FPS issue with the mig21 or that the huey was tk have a multiplayer crew. Thanks for the info. Are most people using track IR?
