I've been playing Lockon for the last 2 years and I consider myself a pretty solid pilot. Been flying on HL as well, and I always go for either F15C or Su27 so I'm still kinda undecided what airframe and thus, what squad to enlist to. I would like to ask all of you good people to help me out with my choice, please don't be shy to advertise your squadron, as I want to know ALL about you. I'm looking for a teamwork based squads, I'm a teamplayer and if need be I'd be willing to protect Airforce One by just putting my plane in front of the missile, so don't think I'm just one of those newbies. BUT, if they're being fired at in HOJ and they're ECM ON all the time, do they get a lock warning when the missile is close enough? Or ED just disabled this as AI always flies with ECM ON, so they would be too easy target?

Or will they still be cheating, ie. know when they're being maddoged from whatever range?

His source of information is internet, which hardly can be compared to a Flanker dedicated book. Now, even if Su33 couldn't deploy Moskit, it's still a cold, undeniable FACT, that this very book has more authority then some unnamed and hardly confirmed internet sources. I agree with Veljko here: unless someone points to a valid source stating SU33 cannot carry Moskit, I'll belive Yephim Gordon who has, afterall, written 'few' pages on the matter. And all those saying they haven't seen pictures of SU33 taking off with Moskit, think again: have you seen SU33 taking off with full AA load? No. Does it mean it CAN'T take off with fuel AA load? Of course not. In the worst possible case scenario, it could take off with half the full and refuel when airborne (that's what the tankers and TOPAZ fuel tanks are for).

Sorry for a slight off-topic but, if you put AIM54C on your SU33, do you get LA earlier or the same time as it would be the case with R27ER series?

Cmon, let's be realistic here. If chinese president just ordered one of the Beijing city block's invade any country, we would have like, couple of millions of people, doing an invasion. They don't really need AK-47's, all you have to do is give each of them a peace of rock and that's it. You're screwed.
