When we have more advanced the CC version, we will publish the progress about CC systems, don't worry. In any case, I'm pretty sure, Tango will comment something about CC model :) There is a fast erection switch, you have to fly straight, wings level for a while, for settling. CC carries a different system, not the TARSYN. Difficult to say, we are reasonable optimistic, and we are doing our best. Once is near complete we can write here something more accurate. Nothing disturbing, it will be announced at an official press release from ED.

We have been receiving similar questions from many people. So we are going to try to clarify and bring some light. Feel free to post any question pending from your side regarding DCS:C-101. DCS: C-101 FAQ ------------------------------ Are you selling two versions of the product with SFM and AFM? We have been discussing this a lot recently in AvioDev, and also with ED, to find the best way to proceed. Also we have been paying attention to all your comments. There won't be two versions. DCS:C-101 will be upgrade to AFM which will be included in the product. So what items include DCS:C-101 product? DSC:C-101 is sell as a full-pack and will be comprised by: - C-101EB Trainer version (released initially with SFM) - C-101CC Light Attack version (coming after EB and with SFM) - AFM upgrade for C-101EB and C-101CC (SFM won't be available anymore) Which will be the price for DCS:C-101? ED is releasing an official press release very soon, where the price will be available. What the AFM is bringing? There is already a great work on the aircraft, with the model, textures and advanced systems modelled, you already have a very capable simulator. The AFM is just going to complete the piece, with advanced aerodynamics and advanced engine model, the DCS:C-101 it will become a powerful and deep hardcore simulator. Are you planning training missions, tutorials etc. ? Yes, we are planing a training plan, because we feel the C-101 has a lot of potential for this purpose. We are discussing if we should do it now, or wait for the AFM release, to make what we want from the beginning without remove anything and waste resources. We think this is an specific area, where is possible to do something very interestiing. I'm watching some videos with abnormal ADI behavior, is it a bug? No, it is not. The C-101 has an old system called TARSYN, to give information to ADI and HSI. On aerobatic flight or aggressive maneuvers, the gyroscopes cannot follow the maneuvers, and starts to drag some errors. So ADI is not trustable for aerobatic flight on C-101, and reference from the horizon compared with parts of the aircraft it's the only way. We wanted to capture this kind of details in our project. For IFR it should be ok. Are you releasing a skin template? Yes, we want to release a template to customize your liveries. It won't be available for the release but in the next weeks. What kind of documentation is coming with the product? First document to be released it's going to be the Quick Start Guide in english, followed by the spanish version. Later manual in english and most probably in spanish it will be released to complete the documentation for the product. Extra documentation for training missions/plan it will be evaluated.

A couple of days ago we completed the project and it was sent to Eagle Dynamics for them to create the installer and do final testing (as part of our license agreement). The installer is now done, and once final testing is complete, it will be released. We expect this to happen soon. Thank you for your patience. The summit is almost there.;)

Hi to everyone, We are sorry for the delay, but this journey never was an easy one. :) In any case is coming really really soon. We have been working very hard in the last days and we are happy with the work done already, and the best part is all the potential the C-101 still has on it. The culopo is landing in any time. Many thanks for the support.

There is still nothing official about the Mirage. We are working already on what will be our next module, and as soon as we can make it officially, you will hear it here. :) Thanks to be interested in our next project, sure the future will brings interesting things!

Hi, @Flagrum: It is pretty basic, nothing like a full HUD. The gunsight is gyro stabilized, with a sight line depression which can be set in automatic or manual. The system has also A-A and A-G modes. Attached the reticle pattern. @Aginor: The AFM is in development right now. The C-101 will be released with SFM as a first step, and upgrade later to AFM. @Uboats: Yes, the target is to release it in 2014, we are working in this way.

First picture (WIP) of the C-101CC cockpit. Spot all the differences with the C-101EB! :P Both versions will be part of the same product C-101 for DCS World. EB is on ED testing phase, and CC it will join soon. The EB version is intended for training and CC has light attack capabilities. Pictures were taken from DCS 1.2.10 version. Soon more news about CC development. :D

Thanks, indeed, we have nothing to do with this project. Best luck. :)

Back to the Mirage F1, is an aircraft really close to the team in many ways, with some work done on it in the past... So we would like to develop the Mirage F1 for sure. But we have to go step by step, due it is not only depending on us. So we cannot announce anything officially so far... patience :)

Hi, Sorry for the delay. C-101EB is on ED testing phase, so is going fine. Regarding the C-101CC I'm expecting to post some screenshots this week. We are finishing the model and textures, that should be done this week, then we will start to implement the systems. Hope you find interesting to have this both versions. :D

AIRE'75 DEBRIEFING ------------------------------------------------- Despite the weather we managed to get our C-101 simulator running in combination with the Logykal Motion 2DOF platform, and the Oculus Rift 3D glasses. During Friday we had several problems with the hardware. It was a very long day, and by the evening without lighting we had to leave testing of the simulator until early Saturday. By 07:00 of Saturday we were already back on base, ready to check everything, but a last minute problem appeared: power wasn't arriving to the stand. An hour later, we resolved issue and we proceeded to make the last checks of the systems ready for the public. Before we knew it, the line in front of the stand to try the sim was a non-stop. Many people of all ages were trying the sim, and we were working hard to configure the system for people as some wanted to try Oculus and others just a normal set-up. Towards the end of the day, heavy rains appeared, forcing us to have to shutdown the simulator for safety and to protect the equipment. It was a very busy and exhausting day, but very interesting. We wanted to allow people more time to try the simulator, but given how many people wanted to try it, it wasn't possible. This event has made us learn and observe some details. I think we had many children wanting to try the simulator, which is very good, but we also believe that due the complexity of a hardcore product like this, is not suited for them, and there was other activities on the platform more fitted for young audience, this is something we will have to study in future events that may arise. Still I think they had fun trying to control a military aircraft, and they would surely realize that it is not trivial matter. We would like to thank the Spanish Air Force for giving us the opportunity to participate in the Festival Aire'75 and from here we would like to congratulate them on their 75th anniversary. We would also like to say thank you to everyone who made it possible to present the simulator to the public, and for their help and assistance in setting it up. Thank you so much from AvioDev!

AvioDev C-101: New project announcement
JuanOscar replied to JuanOscar's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
Hi, our idea is to release in 2014 EB and CC with SFM and upgrade later with AFM. But not depending entirely from us. So we have to keep working. :smilewink: -
As Robin says, we have been moving on the next project, but we have to tie things before make a jump into the pool. Also take in count, that we could have our preferences or ideas. like you said, but is not all up to us. As soon as we can make an official announcement, we will, we are very excited about what is coming. Anyway, right now our major part of the time is focused on C-101, because algo interesting things are coming with the culopo. :D
-
Hi, C-101EB and C-101CC will be part of a same pack, both versions are really similar, just the CC version has weapons capabilities, and a newer version of the same engine with a little more thrust. About the other questions, we are still searching and gathering info regarding the CC version. So depending how it goes... Regarding the gunsight: Is the same model that was mounted in some MB-339. SAAB RGS-2 gunsight

AvioDev C-101: New project announcement
JuanOscar replied to JuanOscar's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
Hi, The creation of a new scenario has been discussed, and is a possibility. But right now is just an idea which has to becomes into a solid project, because is not only up to us. We have to move step by step, and not only that but also creating the road in front of us with yellow bricks. :D -
Hi, The C-101 is an advanced trainer and ligth attack aircraft.
-
Hi, still we cannot announce officially which will be our next module. Step by step. :)
-
Indeed, we feel that we made a great step forward last night... testing every system on the cockpit with our test pilots and we made an improve on the code logic. I think Tango needs to prepare more coffee...:book:
-
Yes, most likely we will release a template, so everyone will have the chance to paint the C-101 with his favourite colors... :D
