Not first image, been following this and DismountsDemo.miz which does not use "Do Script File". My Mission File: Edit: No longer needed.

Nothing to do with the ship. The error message displays at mission start. The script was being used for three Kamaz covered trucks.

Shame this script doesn't work and is abandoned. Would have been great rather than dumb trucks parking until you finish them off...

I have three vehicle groups, group 1 (A) is a UAZ-469 jeep, group 2 (B) are three Kamaz-43101 and group 3 © is an AA ZU23 on a Ural. I want all to act like a convoy in three parts as I can then make each do different actions when attacked. Thing is 30 kts is not the same for each group, group 2 (B) is the slowest and group 1 (A) the fastest, even at 25 kts the jeep accelerates away... Is there a reason why speeds are not adhered to between groups and types of vehicles?

Excellent, thanks Bushmanni. That script looks exactly what I'm looking for, no more dumb units waiting to be finished off instead of putting up a bit of a fight! I also learned today that ground units can continue to drive. Edit: Unfortunately the Dismounts Script doesn't seem to work.

I was thinking, which is dangerous, when you attack a convoy of unarmed trucks and whatnot the convoy scatters and then the trucks halt for you to finish off in your own time. Is there a way of creating a group of infantry to appear as if they have come from the trucks?

MasterZelgadis: Ah ok, I don't know anything about server bans as I play single player as I'm pretty crap at flying. Don't know why RPGs shouldn't be set 'officially' as type 3 as RPGs can be used against low flying aircraft such as helicopters. Cibit: Thanks. I got the info from Flanker15 on another thread, like I wrote I don't know about server bans. Jman: I hope you find it a good little mission. I might work on it a bit more but it's intended to be the sort of mission a Gazelle heli would be sent on and a little tricky. -

MasterZelgadis: I don't know of any reason why the RPG shouldn't be changed to type 3 as it makes the infantry with RPG take shots at aircraft and ground vehicles instead of only ground vehicles. The other settings are less important but my own preference. -

Cheers Schmidtfire. Yes I will do that variant, I was looking into doing so when I noticed the cannon reticle and rocket one are not exactly in the same place and part of the cannon reticle's edges are clipped. I think it's something to do with positioning in Sights_page.lua. My health isn't that good atm so it'll have to wait until I feel better... -

Yeah it would be rather neat to have a fully working T100 control panel, warnings and contrast or opacity adjustment etc. -

Brixmis: You can build an IR head tracker for about £30. The Main bits I've ordered from Amazon are... USB Head Tracking, pro Clip £14,80 Sony PlayStation 3 Eye Camera £7,49 Plenty of guides online to make a cheep version which doesn't play into the hands of the insultingly overpriced TrackIR (£170 which will buy you a 32 inch HD ready TV)... -

I want to do some missions for the Gazelle where it is up against small insurgent forces. Is there a mod or a way of creating insurgent 'side' rather than the standard country vs country setup? I guess it would mean renaming infantry such as 'Infantry Soldier Rus' etc...

Oh I am, I don't pick this sort of thing up easily but fun it is. Hopefully things will be a tad easier when I get to building my IR head tracker, £170 for TrackIR is stupid money really and money is tight... I hope more Gazelle mods and missions come along. I might turn my hand to some Gazelle missions soon... Cheers. -

Thanks for answering cichlidfan. I thought that might be the case but wasn't quite sure. Anyway I've just purchased the Gazelle and noticed on first startup a box sprang up for about a second saying something like "Gazelle SA342 Automatic Activation.". I possibly missed this when I installed FC3 as it was so quick you only have to blink to miss it. Cheers...
